Have recently been getting into fake lego and it's suprisingly decent quality. The detail and tolerances are not as good as the genuine original but at usually 1/10th of the price I'm not complaining. Lego customer service and after-sales support for missing/damaged parts on genuine builds is amazing though.

Agree. No questions asked for lost pieces on Lego and free shipping. The popular knockoff sets have great discounts. I had a chronic illness last year and was able to afford 3-4x as much "lepin" which kept me sane. I think comments like this usually get deleted here so I browse lepin on reddit

We also have a few fake ones. As you said. Not too bad. Do like how the real lego click into place much easier though. With the fake usually have to align them better.

        • I've found Cada brand have really good fitment. Gobricks are factory (not a brand) that supply many brands and are really high quality too. Better than the no-brands I've tried at least.

@Blu2: Cada is quite higher quality compared to Lepin.

          • @Blu2: Just looking at ali atm for cada. Might give one a go and see. Got way too much lego though lol. 90% real. Just finished the John Deere one. And wifes almost finished Notre Dame. It all started with Titanic. Must say, expensive but a great build. So much details you don't even see after being built.

      • Im like 100% only lego guy and i bought the fake ucs aliex slave a few weeks ago. Had a few missing pieces which i could work around. Has a few colour subs but its (profanity) incredible for $40

Next to the small tantive newer model and the more recent big one. Im a lego guy but prices are getting insane so i decided to give this fake one a go. Was annoying that it came in numbered bags but wanted parts from each bag each step. Doesn't click together like real lego. Sometimes there are sub colours or missing pieces. Instructions are ok but hard to tell colour. Only tried a fake kit because i bought a legit kit recently with a missing piece and they would not replace it. Never had a missing part before and it pissed me off. The price of this set was too good to ignore and i would buy this 1000x over legit for the price difference. It legit looks incredible for $40

i got mine for $20 shipped and it was great. the instructions are abit sketch at times, not as clear as the official lego but that makes it more challenging lol

    • I got one recently too, as well as the smaller red F1 and the lambo sian

Occupied the kids for hours during school holidays
