Yeah I wouldn't be paying this much for a keyboard….but you can run more than 2 apps on an iPad screen nowadays.

Heavy iPad Pro M4 user for mostly work but also a bit of play (using it right now), but agree. Especially at this kind of price.
Why get an iPad and then a keyboard that makes it weigh as much as a small laptop? On screen keyboard and the Pencil Pro is all you really need for work.

These are a great product if your iPad is your primary or often used secondary - and you use it landscape and predominantly to type and work.
Having zero protection (or needing to switch cases) on your iPad when you remove it to use vertically to read or horizontally to comfortably consume is a significant downside.

Although I have to say, thanks to the M4 and of course, iPadOS’ infamous grunty grunt enabling performance, you really will never miss more than 8GB of RAM.

I wanr to neg this as a deal but feel ir would be unfair on an OP who is clearly posting it ironically. Thanks for reminding me why I'm not in the Apple ecosystem.
The real irony is I'd probably be tempted by this if I could use ir with a PC and ir actually had a sensible kbd layout (like having a delete key AND a backspace key). It is basically impossible to get a laptop-like keyboard and touchpad to use as an external keyboard in the PC world. The touchpad is off to one side, or tiny, or the keyboard itself is ultra cheap and nasty. So near and yet so far!
(Also I typed the above on a phone and as you can tell, I really need a good keyboard…)
