IMO - in some ways it is a way to drum up support for company +++ provide hits to website.
As per T&C's (the way I read it) …
By signing up to the "competition" - they will email ALL ppl prior to website going live, to remind them of comp (I got my reminder email today) - to visit website (with that silly/stupid early 2000's style countdown timer).
Simply by providing details/email - doesn't actually give you a chance to "win" the prize.
WHEN website goes live … first 15 ppl to place purchase (unsure on this EXACT bit - as T&C's not 100% clear) will win the set FREE of charge.
Considering 9000+ ppl entered … will be a very select few to click on (/ do whatever) once website goes "LIVE" … and doesn't crash - hope they used a proper hosting provider.
As per my first thoughts … it's a dog's way of running a comp +++ launching a business venture … but hey.
[EDIT] : also VERY sad that … OP - who is associated with company never came back to clarify (even though they are subscribed to subsequent posts).
If this business TRULY wants to survive after launch day - hope they re-assess their business model (otherwise doubt will survive even 1 year).
i'm confused. Is it a draw or the first 15 people to buy them get them free.
