I am picking components to build a budget/midrange multi use PC with emphasis on gaming. To stick around my original budget of $2k going with AMD 5 7600X CPU and Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU for 1440 monitor. The mobo I am thinking is MSI B650 gaming plus WiFI ($279.00 AM5) For a budget build is this a good choice or for a few extra $$ is there a mobo recommendation.
(I was also looking at i5-13600K and Geforce RTX 4070)
Pretty much what I was going to say. I vote Nebula. Have bought a few, one with 7800X3D and 4070 Ti SUPER (for more than this latest deal!), and it rules. Can recommend.
Not sold on techfast to many neg comments and not sold on pny 4070. Nebula does not have 7800x3d on current discount and not wanting 7500F CPU.
Ah yeah that's true. That explains the big gap in price vs the one I got. Still, you can't build your own as cheap as they will put it together for you with whole system warranty. But if you're into building I can see the attraction of doing it yourself.
I have an almost identical system, 7600 non X and 7800XT. I went with AORUS B650 AX ELITE V2 ($310), and got everything around 1900.
You will be fine with MIS B650 gaming plus, I decided to spent a bit extra since I expect this board to last till mid AM6
re prebuilt, I find them tend to cheap out on mobo, SSD and PSU. If you upgrade those, the price is close to building one yourself. But there are def some deal thats impossible to beat, like those MSI steam gift card promo few weeks ago

I am going a similar build for my son.. He did not want prebuilt, he is 13 so wants all that RGB. CPU and cooler from Aliexpress. Things that have not purchased yet are open to change if any sale make a better buy

How about this? 7600 CPU with 4070 Super GPU. This is actually what I'm planning to build and your needs and budget sound similar to mine:
Ended up buying Techfast 7800X3D with 4070Ti super upgraded cooling and ram for $2200 odd total. Cannot justify building own PC due to cheaper prebuilt. Yes some components I would not have selected but for the price it will be a wicked gaming PC
