Much better than The Medium going off reviews, PlayStation being the lead platform likely helped.

I’m looking forward to this remake when it’s released on the PS5 on Tuesday. I’m a big fan of the series, and still own all of games in the series on PS1, PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as the 2 movies on Blu-ray:
I picked this up on the PS5 today, I have downloaded/installed it and will probably give it a go at around 9:30-10pm tonight. It has reversible cover art too, the original Silent Hill 2 cover art for the PS2 is on the other side:
