What Are Your Cheap Thrills?

Saving money is great and all but we all need a little treat now and again. The secret here is making sure your thrills are low cost and don't break the budget. Not like impulse buying a TV or something like that. What are your go to cheap thrills when you feel like spending a little?

Mine is digital pokemon card packs. 23c a pack and its a little fun opening them with my kids on the tablet :)

With the exception of low costs upfront, it’s the same as extended warranty

Up until you open it, you might be the owner of a titanium foil Tokyo drift special card (“that’s not real” I hear you say. But are you really 100% sure of that?). It’s a schrodingers cat of both owning and not owning something special.

You can’t get that with singles.

Sure, some might just call that gambling, but I like my thing better.

Street Bounty, deliberately doing things to intriuge the nonna mafia on my street and then watch as they gossip out the front at said 'issue' (this week has been the never ending moving of 'stuffs' into the garage (deceased estate finds - oh yeah, there's cheap thrill 3…)

When I had a Tesla… charging from power points out in public. Now I just get free fuel so there's no need for electric.

    • Why free, company car or drive offs with fake plates?

      • Company fuel card covers it all.

      • The drive off with fake plates is another cheap thrill.

    Pr0n?

  • Apart from the great Janice Joplin (with BB& the HC) album of this name I bought for $2 a ‘while back’, & the super italian wine grown & bottled near Herat in Afghanistan in 1976 at about $1 PB locally, our free trip around this sun every year does it all for me!
