Anyone got a link to it for similar/same price elsewhere? Not a fan of HN

    • +6

JB would likely price match it for you.

And then use a $10 Perks voucher

are these any good? played my psvr once and was slightly sick/bored haha

    • +2

They’re not needed if your GPU has a USB-C port, since this uses VirtualLink.
Also, these should be great once third-party drivers are stable.

      • +8

USB-C ports on GPUs was very shortlived

  • +1

Too bad Sony gimped half the features on PC.

    • +5

Give it time, most games don't support the features anyway

      • +1

I would like to agree, but historically Sony has never followed up with such support

        • They did with adaptive triggers on the dualsense

  • Is it worth waiting for a next gen vr headset? Or just go for a PS vr2?

    • +4

Do you have a PS5? PSVR2 is pretty good and this adapter extends it significantly.
If not Meta Quest 3 is better
These are really good options right now, and even if the next gen will be better anything significantly better will likely cost a lot more.
The cost is the real issue - $800ish for a headset, buying games, plus this adapter = well over $1k

Awesome experience. I had a few VR games on steam and now can fully utilise the adapter. You have to endure you have a decent BT5.0 adapter, otherwise it wont pick up the hand controllers correctly

    • +2

BT 4.0 works fine too. My old ub400 has had no issues.

      • Connect the Xbox controller & the two PSVR hand controllers and let me know if all can connect at the same time
