      Hardly. You may think that another game was better, but GTA5 is an incredible video game and to think that it came out in 2013 is mindblowing.

      Not overrated at all, and worth every penny paid at whatever time you bought it. Games today struggle to offer the variety of space, events and equipment at your disposal in GTA5.

      Hardly overrated, this was the peak of open world realism at release, still holding up well against the current gaming landscape. A thoroughly unforgettable blockbuster story mode, and an online community that refuses to shrink

      I bought this on PS3 back in the day, then eventually Steam, then got it for free on epic store, then had it included in game pass for a bit.. 6 can't be far off now 😂

        nothing wrong with an anticheat, problem lies in this one's kernel mode access. that makes it both incredibly effective and incredibly intrusive. the way they've set up the anticheat means gta v doesn't work on linux anymore, either.

        I don't cheat. I have problem with granting the anti cheat kernel mode access to my system. Also, it should only be required if I want to play online. Don't let me go online without it, ok. But tell me why do I need to install a kernelode anticheat if I am playing offline?

          I agree with the choice of not installing it altogether if only playing story mode.
          I mean they even let you "switch it off" for single player.

      It's technically a retro console game. When Gamecube was out we called SNES a "retro" console, and that was only three generations apart too. I remember when we were getting a new GTA game every other year, and they were really good games too.

      The frustrating thing about that is they don't allow backwards compat on some of the version like xbox 360 to xbox one so you have to keep buying it…

    I have only ever owned the first one, Grand Theft Auto on the PS1. My mum had to buy it for me as I was only 15 at the time. Used to love playing that game. Will give my 11 year old a few more years before letting him buy the latest version.

    GTA Online does not support cross-gen or cross-platform multiplayer. So if you get this game and your friends are playing the Xbox One version, that won’t work.

      Vice City is my favourite mostly for nostalgic reasons, I played a lot of it in high school.
