Just got my new Xbox from Arnott's Shapes competition. Was a annoyed that the latest Mortal Kombat game was not on Gamepass. had a look yesterday and the base game was reduced to $30. Went to buy it today and saw the Kollection reduced to $42. That's a no brainer.

After reading about the comp here i went down to woolworths. Bought 4 boxes of shapes. Won 1 month of gamepass. Next day got an email that i had won an xbox.

For $42 it's worth it. I've rinsed the campaigns, been through a few seasons on Invasions, and it's my favourite MK in a while, but still pretty tired of Warner Bros' crappy microtransaction strategy. Another $11 for Shang Tsung?! Get wrecked.

Yeah, they certainly have a reputation. Much like The Sims, the base game should be free as it's just a gateway/store for the DLC. Still, the whole family here has always loved a few rounds of MK.
