Not sure if anyone else is having this issue with OzB. But on my up to date copy of firefox the Go-to-deal link on this deal node only works if I am logged in. It works fine in Chrome. It is not a cookie issue. Same issue in private browser windows.

But it works fine in firefox if I login. How would the extension know the difference?
Adblocker Plus / uBlock Origin will block affiliate links since they contain some tracking parameters, and automatically close the tab or reject connection, preventing you from visiting the deal.
Guests (logged out users) on Ozbargain are sometimes (not always) served affiliate links on the Go To Deal thumbnail image. You might have noticed Affiliate on the thumbnail. If you click on this, you are given a choice of using the direct link
However, Logged in users are always served the direct link and never the affiliate link. And guests who use any other link other than the Go-To-Deal thumbnail are also given direct links too.
if none of the outgoing links are working for you, then there's something very wrong with your browser or you have configured something incorrectly with your extensions.
many thanks. totally explains it.
Why are you logging out of ozbargain?
Askin' the real questions.
i’m not. The session is not infinite in length.
I only have to log in maybe twice a year. How often are you getting kicked out?
Have you tried Safe mode / resetting the browser to defaults? You may have installed an extension that disables certain features of the browser (e.g javascript via NoScript or similar)
