Yeah yeah not a huge deal but this one doesn't reduce in price often (or at all from what I can tell).

It's a big castle with knights and stuff and even a drawbridge. It's even got a teeny Lego castle for the Lego citizens to play with in the castle. The kids won't be going anywhere near this one until they're 18 because that's what the rules on the box say.

    no dragon ? :(

    • +7

No it’s an historically accurate replica from the 1300s and as well all know dragons died out in the 11th century.

You'll want 31120, or three of them.

  • Probably better to wait for black Friday GwPs / double points blah blah and buy from lego.com, which should be > $20 value.

    • Yes but then you have to spend those points/$ in a limited timeframe. So LEGO is still keeping the original money you spent.

      • +1

yes agree on e.g. the points but the GwPs may easily outweigh the $20 saving if (a) you want the set(s) or (b) you're willing to go to the effort to eBay them to recoup funds.

Should be more than 5700 pieces for that price

I bought it during the “Spend$ 600 get a $150 gift card” deal at the Lego store. Similar deals come up all the time.

  • This doesn't look like it should be a $579.61 set tbh. Maybe $179.61.

I have the Lego 6082 set still from when I was a wee lad.

    • $179.61? 4.5k pieces? Pure delulu. This set is significantly larger than prior castles. There is a more reasonably-priced 3 in 1 Castle build still available for $160 which is the more typical playset size, but 1/4 the piece count.

    • I have the Lego 6082 set still from when I was a wee lad.

I (well my parents) still have the 6086-1 Black Knights Castle from my childhood too. Still gets played with by my kids and nephew. Good set.

  • Wouldn't getting the 20x Everyday Reward points/$10 Woolies credit with the TCN gift cards starting from tomorrow, then purchasing it from the Lego store work out better? Something like 10% off? 🤔

    • I cant see lego store listed for any tcn cards.

      • +1

The kids one has the affiliated group Lego store I believe.

        • Ah yes , AG lego in red

      • From the cards included in the promo only the TCN Kids has it, but from memory there are 3 TCN cards that include the AG Lego Store on them.

  • Can still get it from LEGO at $599.99 with a bonus 2700 insiders points which will give you a $30 off voucher. Also LEGO have some gift with purchases as well.
