I am almost certain that I have missed something. The deal seems too good to be true. Bought one anyway.

amaysim 28-Day 80GB prepaid plan — $15 for first renewal & 100GB total (incl. 20GB bonus) for 3 renewals. Ongoing $40 for 80GB/28 days. Offer ends 15 Oct 2024. New online services only. Activate by 31 Oct 2024. Promo codee ESCAPE automatically applied in cart.

  • Cashback is only applicable for customers getting a New Service (SIM) & New Sign Ups (New Customers).

    • Yes looks like both TopCashback & CR are only paying $3 for the $40 80GB plan so $14 is pretty good I guess as far as bait and switch offers go anyway ;P

      It’s ok if you have an account (have been with them in the past) but if you are opening a second number on an active account, I’m not sure in that circumstance!

      Mine tracked at $14 as well. took a screenshot of the page but shopback is the worst with appeals.

      • Yeah I've screenshotted as well, but can't get past the AI chat bot to appeal it as it's still listed at $28 for the 80gb plan.

        They need a flood of ACCC complaints but are likely headquartered on the dark side of the moon.

    • The email said it tracked at $14 but the history on the website says $3, shopback is a pain to deal with.

  • What a complete joke, the support system won’t let you make an inquiry about incorrect Cashback only for missing Cashback! Does anyone remember who the OzB representative for SB is? Maybe they can fix this en masse or organise refunds for anyone who wouldn’t have purchased this otherwise.
    Looks like all of us saw this before people were reporting it as only tracking at $14 and all came back to complain at the same time only to see we weren’t alone ;(

          • @gotyourback: I still haven’t heard back? I replied to the initial email reply back on 2/10 in which I sent all applicable documents and screenshots but since then it’s been nothing but crickets?
            What is the usual timeframe to get a resolution in an instance like this because it shouldn’t be this difficult, tomorrow will be a week since my first contact and AmaySim are unlikely to allow an order cancellation even with an explanation from SB after this long so essentially I’m relying on SB to honour their offer/agreement or I’m out of pocket.
            I’ve always been pro SB when people would complain in the past based on my early experiences with you guys but I’m beginning to understand the persistent complaints.
            Anyway, I look forward to being proven wrong but it’s not looking good atm.

    • For those still following, my transaction just completed for the $3 that tracked initially and I’ve been given a bonus $25 that should complete on December 10.
      I was hoping they’d be linked but I guess they had no way of knowing when AmaySim would approve the transaction so made the date equal to the maximum time frame in the terms.

  • Promo code ESCAPE is not listed on shop back. Understand it's auto applied but is this ok and has anyone successfully received their cashback for the same situation before?

    • Most likely be changed to $0 and/or rejected. Their support team is useless.

      Yes mine tracked at $14 initially and has now been corrected to $3.
      This actually makes me mad, they better fix this or give me a refund. I’m calling amaysim since it’s impossible to contact SB and there’s no response from @gotyourback.
      This crap should be illegal.

      • Happened to me as well. Worst case scenario I will try and get a chargeback…

      • You should be able to go on Amaysim live chat and ask to cancel and refund, if you haven't used the eSIM yet.

    It says on email : tracked $14. But, on the app shows only $3! WTH?!?

  • I ordered 1 for myself and 1 for my Mrs…and than saw the forum 3 hours later with all these issues…I did manage to take a snapshot of the $28 cashback ad…although transaction is not tracked on mine or my Mrs account as of yet(nearly 13 hours later)..
    What should I do..?

  • funny thing..Amaysim tracked mine and my Mrs for only $3…on my escalating the issue..after 25 days ..they paid me the rest…but on my Mrs account shop back is completely ignoring..not even replying
