Great find; you got me, but I'd rather pay the extra 3 bucks despite it being on Amazon US because it normally takes a couple weeks when I order all kinds of stuff from the US. Sometimes within a week.
My first time vinyl order from Fishpond got cancelled because their website can't do inventory. Second vinyl purchase took about 3 months to arrive from the UK

it is a bargain because this was Mariah’s 4th studio album and when she approached her management with the idea they were not keen to pursue it as Christmas albums were considered albums has-been artists released to revive their careers. She was at the zenith of her career at the time and the label wasn’t sure if they were willing to take the risk. The album contains 3 new songs and 7 covers of traditional Christmas classics arranged in a traditional Gospel style. The album features the biggest session talent in the music industry at the time: Kelly Price, Greg Phillinganes, Randy Jackson, Dann Huff, Loris Holland, Omar Hakim, David Cole and Robert Clivillés (of C+C Music Factory Fame). The album has only ever peaked at No3 on the Billboard 200 and was only the 2nd biggest selling Christmas album of 1994 behind Kenny G’s “The Holiday Album”. It has, however, spent 97 cumulative weeks in the Billboard 200 over the years and was No1 on the Billboard Holiday chart. In Japan alone it shipped over 2.8million units and has peaked at No1 in three countries: Japan, Lithuania and Latvia. It just proves that attaining the big positions on the charts is not always the secret to success, sometimes longevity and consistency is more important.

Reckon I’m better off saving up the $ and doing a phat $1000 purchase from imusic? They seem to offer the best available price for 90% of vinyls, but the shipping cost (around $50) only makes it cost effective to purchase in bulk.
Or is the “slow accumulation” route via Amazon the best in your experience? On sale, Amazon tends to match imusic prices, but I can’t see a world where I manage to catch 60 odd vinyls on sale individually
@XxBargainHuntaxX: I started importing DnB vinyl from the UK in the late 90s, early 00s. So slow accumulation from any website, eBay, Amazon, op shops, irl record stores, vinyl meets etc.
Most of my records are from eBay UK and US I reckon, before Amazon launched here.
@rosebank: Noice, might do a bulk order from imusic to fill out the “must have” vinyls, then slowly accumulate the rest. Should be a fun albeit financially crippling hobby!
