Hi, just moved from the UK and did lots of product testing, etc.
Wondering what companies are in Australia? I have already signed up for Influenster and Home Testers Club.
Thanks

We're testers for Netgear and have been for a very long time. People should know that your chances of being selected are based on your testing inputs previously (for subsequent tests), willingness to do scut testing, IT knowledge/experience, location, setup - in otherwords, you can't just get a free device, use it and give one review. The devs at Netgear are very approachable but they're not there to help testers do the fundamentals. A certain level of IT savvy is expected. They are very clear that failure to perform results in the devices being taken back.
Serious question here- if you're tech savvy enough to be selected to product test networking equipment, why are you using something like Netgear equipment in the first place instead of something enthusiast/commercial/enterprise (and a lot more stable or flexible)?
We do. When the other half gets a device, he swaps it out on the network. Being a Netgear user isnt a requirement or benefit. They want different setups. For him, Id say it's more the nerd enjoyment factor of the testing process, working with like minded people and keeping those skills and knowledge ticking over.
For me, sometimes it's interesting (new thing in the house - the Meural, for example way back when), but mostly it's inconvenient - connect to this, try this, stand here, drive there, try now… 🙄🤣
We’re Sorry.
