    Hmm… interesting…

So the preorder price was supposedly lower at $147 to entice customers to preorder, but yet when the product is finally released, it's being sold at the same price? Was it ever "usually $196" then?

Normal price - this 4pk is always discounted. Paid $147 in July of last year and $147 in May of this year.

      • And your thought about them?

        • +2

Cancelled the July preorder after Google kept delaying the launch. When Google finally rolled out the FMD network here I reordered only to then cancel again as the performance is abysmal, even now. You can read more on Reddit. FYI this affects all FMD trackers, not just Chipolo.

Do you need to subscribe to a program to track these?

As per description "Works with Google's Find My Device app"

      • Ah sorry mistook the 10% off on sign up as a subscription for service.

Pretty sure generic ones don't exist for Android yet

  • I couldn't find any find my device on aliexpress that worked with the google network. Any links to generic ones?

Any existing users have feedback on this?

Currently. Using tile, thinking this will have better coverage

  • Shame they don't have UWB, I think the Moto Tag will be a better choice when they release

Still waiting for a better price at least cheaper than iTags

  • Still waiting for a better price at least cheaper than AirTags that cost $120 and under when on sale.
