I was fascinated by this post travel hacking a fare to Africa, but it was one way, and many comments theorised the return flights would offset any savings.
I prefer to investigate, and it turns out, actually, they're very reasonable! I've searched a bunch of dates to find the cheapest between October and March. Note that the Great Migration tends to run July to November - you may need to head further south to see the big herds on the move, but there's plenty more to be seen!
