It's out of stock from Amazon UK and back at a slightly higher price with Amazon Deutschland.

Super cool keyboard at what is near to the lowest price yet, not including the cashback deal at Everyday Market from Woolies. Now it's coming from Germany so you'll need to wait a bit longer to get it. I'm still waiting for the C64 version at something close to this price. If you want a numpad, the deal is still on here as well. See earlier posts here and here with heaps of comments

I find Amazon Germany notoriously slow with dispatching items to Australia. Even when they say it’s in stock. I’m still waiting on several items including the 8bitdo C64 keyboard.

  • Why is the colour called "fami"?

    • -1

      If you know, you know.

    • +4

Because in Japan the SNES was called the Super Famicom (Family Computer) and was the burgundy/white colour scheme.

      • +3

Super famicom was dark grey on light grey. Snes was purple on grey.

Famicom was the burgundy on white. Nes was grey with a black stripe and the nintendo logo in red.

        • +1

oops, included Super by mistake :p My bad :)

    • +1

Supposed to be themed around the famicom, which was released in japan by nintendo at roughly the same time as the nes. It's for all intents and purposes mostly the same console with a few regional differences, a different chassis, and branding.

  • Love the famicon vibe, but does anyone have feedback on the negative reviews re volume control being dicey?

Also, the photo of the guy caressing the titty buttons is a bit much.

  • +2

Come on reduce the c64 version already!

  • +1

The M version is at $156.97 at Amazon Germany- lowest I've seen it so far

    • Cheers, I've added it to the post

    • any differences between the two models or just the color?

  • +2

I ordered the one from UK last week and it still hasn't been shipped. I'm hoping it's just a delay from inputting the tracking details but if not, can't imagine how slow Amazon Germany is.

    • +1

Same, no updates or details or eta on the order.

  • +1

Ordered from Germany a while ago c64, all good, received mine, worth the wait!

Only thing is software a bit hard to setup. Not user friendly. You can ignore this if you don't plan to use macro

  • +1

Does anyone actually use the titty buttons for anything? I can't imagine using them for much.

    • +2

      macros.
      use it for my productivity
      screen shot, calculator shortcut
      lightroom, photoshop commands. etc

  • Hmm….so Royal Kludge S98 was $149….now its gone up to $159
So Prime-d and prepped for a sale me thinks…right when Colesworth get sued

  • +1

Have had the M version for a few weeks now, love it. Should be noted that these keyboards don't have backlighting, just in case that is a deal breaker.

    • +1

Also, while the 8BitDo software for these keyboards only supports Windows and Android; the keyboard itself works perfectly fine on Mac after some key remaps in the OS.

      • +1

Keyboard works fine with ChromeOS as well. Android Ultimate app from Google Play doesn't support, need Windows based Ultimate V2.
