    Bought one.
    I don’t need it but it’s a bargain.

  • Great price for a color

  • +4

    Probably price error.

    • +10

Do you notice how price was expired in unmissable red font at the top and the expiry date section?

      22 Sep 9:39am

Or how people were able to buy it for $48?

      Or how CCC shows $48?

        • +20

I provided you 2 links as proof someone was able to buy it at $48 in the comment section as well as on CCC before it was expired? Do you know how Amazon even works? Maybe your butler Alfred Pennyworth can show you how.

unless you can magically show me that at this $48 right now

Why would I be showing you how you can buy it right now at $48 if it is expired lol. Are you drunk? Consider why you are being downvoted, champ.

          • +2

@Lucille Bluth: +1 for 'butler Alfred Pennyworth' LMAO

@BatmanAU: You mock others but you couldn't grasp something so very simple despite choosing the World's Greatest Detective as your username.

            • +4

@BatmanAU: So looks like the results are in. ~40 or so people of 8 billion hate their lives so desperately that they awake from the throes of despair on their way to the next life to login to ozbargain to downvote you before they walk towards the light.

@seamonkey: I know right, when I post I hear the Viking horn blow and an almighty “Neg voters, hurry and unite”

                • +2

@BatmanAU: Can't get on with my day until I hear your admission that it was, in fact, for a very short time, available for $48. 🤣

        • +5

The deal was marked as expired before you made your comment. Nobody has to show you that its "$48 right now" because the post was marked to indicate that it is no longer available at that price.

            • +4

@BatmanAU: Your original comment was 1 hour and 7(lets say 8) minutes ago. (this will change as I type this out)
              It's currently 10:52.
That means you commented at 9:44
The deal was marked as expired at 9:39

This means the deal was marked as expired 5 minutes before you commented.

@BatmanAU: I'm going to go ahead and quote my original comment

@MS Paint: Oh how cute, when it comes to computers it’s either Mice or Mouses, but silly me for not explaining myself, I was referring to downvoters that are reaching for their one and only mouse, not their mice as most people only have one. But well done!

                • +2

@BatmanAU: Ohh silly me. I meant to write "Nice" referring to your lovely replies.

                @MS Paint: What about us?

        • +6

lol. I didn't downvote you but, oh man, you are fully cooked. You need the person that provided proof to have Jeff Bezos fly into your neighbourhood to confirm the authenticity of the $48? 😂🤣😂🤣😂

@BatmanAU: Unfortunately RUOK was just the other day.

              • @McFly: BatmanAU couldn't participate because the yellow was too hard on his eyes making him nauseous

Expired, now sold from NES for $399 not Amazon AU. Marked the post as expired.

  • +5

Ah bummer, would have loved this

  • Got a similar HP printer for free a few years back forgot which store now. Still works great.
Would replace it with this if the ink cartridges are cheaper.

  • +8

Looks like cartridges cost more than twice this price, get stuffed epson.

    • +1

sell the printer after the cartridges it came with are empty, instant profit.

    • +5

Yeah nobody should buy an inkjet unless they specifically need it to print photos more than weekly etc (even still I just get them printed at Officeworks for 5/10c).

BW or colour laser is the way to go, toner never expires

    • +3

Yeah, hate these types of inkjet printers. They could have given them away for free and then sell you those overpriced liquid gold ink later. Otherwise they will just end up in the landfill.
The only inkjet printers to consider are those with Eco tanks.

      • +2

Workforce, were ok. A lot better than most canon, hp, and lexmark.

        • Have one of these models and it goes alright.

Turned off the firmware updates as I'm not sure if they block generic ink cartridges.

          Generic ink works fine.

      • +1

No, the opposite. The cost should be in the machine and not the ink. To prevent landfill. It's disgraceful.

  • Everything I do for documentation is practically digital except cash. If only this can print tendable money.

  • +11

If you don't print much don't get an inkjet printer. If you print a lot don't get an inkjet printer. If you don't print often the print head gets clogged up. If you print a lot it will cost you a small fortune ink.

    • +6

i spent more time aligning and cleaning print heads than actually printing

      these are shit

      went back to laser

    • +2

Gotta agree. Inkjet is trash. Laser all the way

    • +2

Agree with this! I used to have a similar Epson A3 inkjet, such pain when the print head got clogged up… At this price, probably the multifunction is worth it, not the printing.

  • +1

    Missed it!!!

  • Why even buy when eco tank still cheaper.

    • +4

To lure those stupid consumers (I was one for years) with cheap printers then tie them down with expensive ink cartridges that frequently clog up and need to be replaced. They even have the audacity to incorporate the print head “cleaning” technology, by using those little capacity of ink in the cartridges to flush and unclog the print head, so you end using more ink to clean the print head instead of actually printing what you want.

  • Cost for printer $48.. Cost for 4 toner refills - $200.

It takes up a lot of room. Comes with ink at levels of about 20%.

I guess it's a good scanner if you need one for that price.

I had a similar model. Bought one of those ink tank kits.. Even they stuff up after a while.. even before the ink dries out.
