    • About 10 minutes each time for me.

      • You purchased multiple per account?

        • +1

Update, I was able to purchase multiple 5gb/30d eSims per account, tracked within 15 minutes of purchase each time. Just make sure to re-activate the tracker each time, no adblock, etc.

  • bought asia 3G for AUD 19.63, cashreward tracked USD19.63, and cash back is AUD 20, so basically, it is +37c profit :)

    • +1

Paid AU$19.17 on Up bank. 83c profit!

      • It might track as 20 aud currently but get reduced later?

        • Yup definitely possible once it gets approved in 3 months

  • +2

My issue with FlexiRoam is they don't list which carriers (and/or 5G) are supported in each country

    • Anyone has a recommendation for 6 days sim for NZ? I will need to be able to call in case of emergency a local number and some data allowance only for using maps on road while driving ( as hotel will have wifi for evenings etc)

  • Anyone tried multiple transactions and getting tracked for each of them?

    • +1

Yeah I have. They have all initially tracked at $20AUD even though the price paid was less than that.

      • Thanks.

  • +3

    Flexiroam CS sucks

  • +1

    Thanks Bought Asia 3GB$19.63 – cashback $20

  • Is it $20 cap per account or per transaction? The Cashrewards page says $20 per transaction.

    • +2

bought 2 esims in 2 transactions, both tracked from CR

  • 1 of my transaction was not tracked 😞

  • I just bought one plan and going to travel in October.
Can I finish the activation before leaving Australia?
Can I schedule the start date?

    • Same question. Can I activate in Australia?

    • you can schedule start date (up to 3 months from date of purchase)
and it can be activated anywhere as long as you have internet connection

Recent experience using Flexiroam's global plan in Singapore/Malaysia:

Was transiting via Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. Activated the plan in Singapore. Received signal but could not connect to the internet. Didn't matter as I had WiFi at the airport. Arrived in Kuala Lumpur. Again, received 5G/4G signal but again, could not connect to the internet. Changed APN settings as per the instructions, also didn't work. Tried on both my Android and girlfriend's iPhone (with her plan), so wasn't an phone OS issue. Turn on/off flight mode multiple times, still didn't work.

Eventually gave up after fiddling around for 20 minutes outside the arrivals area, was so tired and just wanted to go to the hotel. Eventually bought an eSIM from elsewhere. Luckily received the QR code within short period of time and it worked instantly.

Hard to trust Flexiroam after this experience.

After some further live chats with flexiroam, here are the some useful info for everyone:

    • You can 1 or more active plans at the same time. Eg. You can have a local plan, regional plan and global plan active at the same time (with overlapping validity). If you are in a country where both local plan and regional plan has the coverage, the data quota will first deduct the local plan, followed by regional plan, then global plan
    • If you have more than 1 devices / phones, you need a separate flexiroam account and different eSim for the different phone
    • You have up to 3 months time to activate the plan after date of purchase. To check the validity, you can press "Activate Plan" and select schedule activation and see the last date allowing you to activate

With point 1, I am guessing, let say I am going to Hong Kong and Japan.
The Asia 3GB / 30Days isnt enough for me
    I can first purchase a Local plan Hong Kong 3GB / 30Days [100% cashback]
    then purchase a Local plan Japan 3GB / 30Days [100% cashback]
    then purchase a Asia regional 3GB / 30Days [100% cashback]

All these plans can be active on the same period
No matter I am in Hong Kong or Japan, the local plan quota will be first consumed, then the regional plan
So the end result is, if I am only stopping over in Hong Kong (which 3GB is enough), I can have 6GB to be used in Japan

    • Are you sure you can get up to $20 cashback for each of the plans? I assumed it's a $20 cap in total

      • Cashrewards states "Capped at $20 per transaction" not "Max $20" etc

        • Then @littlesoldier could just buy the Asia regional sim multiple times over to meet their required data usage?

          • @EnemyEagle3: I believe so
But local plan are slightly cheaper so really depends on use case

    • So if I buy 3 "Japan 5GB 30 Days AUD 17.37" plan with 3 transactions, I'll get 15GB to use in Japan for free(after 100% cashback)? Just activate one after another one.

Is this too good to be true?

      • thats correct

        • Wow that’s insane! That means we can stack it unlimited?

          • @LegoLexus: Yes but you still need to activate within 3 months from date of purchase, with $20 probably can only get up to 30days plan, so to max out you can logically having 4 months of “many” data

  • Can anyone please confirm when cashback will be available for withdrawal?

    • Says ~95 days on Cashrewards. Tracked in about 10-15 minutes. No email from Cashrewards nor Flexiroam. Showed the tracking on my CR account.

    • Says 26 or 27 Dec for approval

  • Bought yesterday but no email from Cashrewards about purchase being tracked. Ummmm Interesting!!

    • No email is being received but if you check account the pending amount should be there

    • I got both emails for 2 separate txns

  • +1

the cheapest Esim if I select China was a 5 gig one which would have exceeded the cashback by $5+
If I choose the ASia one it says it will work in China and will be under the cap ??

    Odd

    • you can get 2 x 3GB China plans and activate at the same time
$20 cashback is per transactions so 2 plans will still be 100% cashback

Dumb question how do I use this eSIM card? Do I buy it and activate before I go overseas? And do I need to take out my current SIM card before I activate the eSIM?

    • +1

You can install and activate the eSIM anytime, just activate the data plan when you start using the data overseas

Anyone has a recommendation for 6 days sim for NZ? I will need to be able to call in case of emergency a local number and some data allowance only for using maps on road while driving ( as hotel will have wifi for evenings etc)

  • I'm stuck at "confirm address" - always get a "please confirm address" when trying to pay.
Lost my trust on the company that creates such horrible website…

    • if you purchase eSIM there's no need to confirm address

      • unfortunately I use a old phone.. so esim is not an option :P

  • Anyone having trouble getting a second transaction in? First one went through and now when attempting to get a second plan to stack with the first one all of my cards are declining…wonder if it got ozbargained lol??

    • I was able to place two transactions with the same card and account without any issues. Might need to clear cookies or cache or use a different browser

    • +1

My card declined after 11, I thought it was a good point to call it quits :P

  • +1

Bought it then installed it.. have a problem with installation… Email, texting, chat with them. Now it is more than 24 hours with no resolution… I have already sent them all the screenshot. Hope for reply… Still waiting..

    • Is this activating via an app? Android or iphone?

      • Activating through the apps for android

    • Just used the Hong Kong 5GB / 30 days sim these 2 days

No issue so far, speed is ok too

  • +1

Update… It works… It seems there is delay in my account. So there is no option to activate.. only today. I can click activate. But no one contact me. So expect no/ little support if you come up with problem connecting

  • +2

I just want to comment on my recent experience with these guys. They're absolutely hopeless if something were to go wrong and you need technical assistance. As some of you have already commented, their CS is a joke, and you're better off talking to a wall than trying to communicate with their AI responses on their app. What's the point of a 100% cashback if their service is crap? If you have no issues, then this is obviously a deal, and good for you. If you run into one, expect major frustration.

    • +1

Cannot agree more. Their CS even left me on silent as they are not willing to do extra mile and left my question unanswered.

  • +1

This company’s customer service is a complete joke. Was able to install an eSIM for Canada but unable to use it at all - SOS only - tried all the troubleshooting steps, network selection, APN, restarting phone as they instructed but still no success. Asked for a refund after 3 days troubleshooting and they would only offer an account credit. Ridiculous

  • +1

Could not get the Flexiroam Esim to work in china.
Luckily I had another one from Travelkon and that worked first time and was flawless.

tried all the troubleshooting steps but no go

  • FlexiRoam is working fine for me in Japan.

  • Tried in Thailand, followed all the steps but it wouldn’t activate.

    Roamless worked without issues.

  • If you are having issues getting the eSIM to work after activating, try turning off airplane mode and back on. That worked for me. Even restarting phone didn’t work for some reason, I almost gave up until live chat rep informed me to try that.
Other things to note, make sure in mobile settings, roaming is switched on (was off as default for me). Also make sure the sim pack is actually activated! First time I tried, I thought just installing the eSIM will do, and forgot I had to activate the plan in the app.
