With hdmi arc you can control it with your tv remote

My TV controls the output level of the optical output with the tv remote.
So I would only need one remote.
Other TVs may vary, hence my question above.
Some new TVs don't have optical audio outputs anymore.
So it’s optical or Bluetooth only? I couldn’t find any mention of 3.5mm audio and I was hoping to use it as a computer speaker.
