Eventually, always. But only AirPods 4 were announced last week - these AirPods Pro 2 actually have newly announced features, so buying them now might get you a year or so before a hint of new ones, plus those new features.
Otherwise wait for AirPods Pro 3 or AirPods Pro 4 or if you’re really worried, AirPods Pro 19.
Are these gray imports?
My deal website “this product is an international version and is covered by my deal 12 month warranty”
There’s two versions on my deal page. One for $325 that clearly says direct import and one for 349.99 that I suspect is this one and not a direct import.
Price in title shouldn’t include cashback.
Just a warning, my son purchased pros from mydeal, grey imports. When they developed a fault Apple said they were from overseas and he would have to go back to original store but they did a test for him and gave a report. Md then said he would have to send them in and test them and pay if they found no problem, even though he had a letter from Apple.
Finally they agreed to replace but then he heard nothing for months and no response so went to fair trading. After about enough a month they said they tried to refund to his original payment method but it no longer existed. He believes they didn’t even try as his bank account had not changed finally after some fair trading they have promised it will be processed this week we hope, so far this is taken months- no matter the discount wouldn’t buy anything worthwhile from them again unless local.
Shame on My Deal!
Probs best to buy it from the wireless 1 store at everyday market then for peace of mind. I am pretty sure they sell local stock.

So with $10 coupon code EMNEW10 and Cashback. This would just cost $250.92.
Oh true they accept any coupon for cashback
yeah so it would be worth it if cashback goes through
Use the coupon EMNEW10 to get the best discount possible
I used it so price dropped to 339 and $108 cashback tracked.Using code might disqualify
As per the shopback deal page:
Special notes from store
All promo codes & Everyday Rewards promotions are valid for Cashback.
yes, I did it too, great deal👍
Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) with MagSafe Case (USB‑C) $334.99 https://www.amazon.com.au/Apple-AirPods-Generation-MagSafe-U…
These were under $300 a couple of weeks ago!
arent these local stock 299 every other day on special, why buy grey and pay 349? Half a deal for me even with cb.
Correct. No deal here.
Believe it or not! With my god-like, divine negotiation skills, I somehow talked JB down to $230—haha, even I’m impressed!
Can you share a screenshot/receipt?
First time using Shopback so will wait for it to be approved but thank you so much! I was about to get it price matched for like $318 (OW PB from Amazon) but I managed to get from Wireless1 for around $250ish (you also get $5 off in points since its 3x rewards points). Used the EMNEW10 too!
Thanks heaps!
Please see if the Cashback goes through. Interested in doing the same thing.
The catch here is that it takes 3 months+ before you can withdraw the cash back.

That is fine with me, I don't need to use the money and really needed these asap. win win. But good to note
Did Shopback process the cashback amount already? Just want to know the exact amount they will give back thanks
@Sanjay420: Not sure how long it takes. Should be processed within two days at most. I would recommend purchasing today from wireless1 cause that cash back only last for 10 more hours. It's a really good deal.
I used referral, the $10 off code, my own everyday rewards $10 off, you get $5 worth of everyday rewards points on deal plus the $100+ cash back for Aus stock. Use savings for AppleCare if you want@v7dal: Yep, just purchased it. Quite decent for $250 Australian stock
@Sanjay420: Please share when you get the shopback email, I purchased it over 2 hours ago and haven't gotten anything yet so pretty stressed right now
@toothless: Yeah no worries will do!
@toothless: Yep got the Cashback email.
Purchased at 2:20pm
Cashback email at 4:10pmCheck your spam email, I found it there
@Sanjay420: I signed up to shopback yesterday and still haven’t received. It’s tracked my click though? any reason why it still hasn’t tracked?
@v7dal: Not sure, maybe contact ShopBack just to confirm if they are tracking it
@Sanjay420: Thanks contacted and $118 was tracked!
@v7dal: Did you just submit a missing cashback claim and it shows up as tracked later? I have the same thing happened but not sure if its automatic for every cashback claim or if its actually tracked.
@toothless: Yeah you have to wait the three days it something (when you go to file claim it v will say minimum days/time to wait). I waited and filed claim and a day later or so it appeared in my account!
@Sanjay420: My product says For Malaysia on it. Is this Aussie stock?
What is everyone's experience with shopback tracking and paying out?
i ordered this morning and somehow the order gotncancelled. Anyone experienced this?
11.54am - Bought from Wireless1 via Marketplace with EMNEW10
12.10pm - Shopback tracking email received $118.08Curious why people are going with wireless1 then it is $30 more expensive than getting it from MyDeal which is linked in this post?
It is stated in the.posts above. Mydeal sells direct import so warranty is from them rather than locql Apple warranty.
Missed that, thank you.
just received mine today but it is saying for Malaysia? Don't think it's Aussie stock? Feeling duped cause I paid extra $30 for them over mydeal? what to do?
I got mine today from Wireless1, and it’s Australian stock. Check the bottom of the box for the code “MTJV3ZA/A”; if it’s there, that means it’s from Australia.
@Sanjay420: Ok sweet mine says that. And I spoke to Apple and they said it can get AppleCare+. But leaving it for 50 days to get AppleCare+
Didn't track, any idea how long it usually takes to track?
Retraction, it worked $111.68 tracked
Mine was tracked within 1 hour
So it takes 3 months to get the money back after it’s been ‘tracked’? Never used shopback and I can’t figure out what tracked and redeemable mean
Loosely translated Tracked means that the transx has met their criteria and has been acknowledged
Redeemable means you can take the $100 or so out after 90 days ( approx) into your account) if it meets all their criteria - note - it can still be declined even after showing as tracked if criteria is not met - read T & C’s
Ordered the $379 Wireless1 ones last Thursday (19th) but it’s still stuck on “preparing order” and the tracking provided does not have any information. Any updates from you guys?
Same thing as you. Still 'preparing order' and when I check my tracking it just says "shipping information approved" and that was on Monday.
Update: It gone to "it's on its way" and will now arrive on Monday or Tuesday
Oo same here, but it only changed this morning. Seems like they only just dispatched it for everyone…I wonder whether it’s because I kept chasing them yesterday
just received mine today but it is saying for Malaysia? Don't think it's Aussie stock? Feeling duped cause I paid extra $30 for them over mydeal? what to do?

Yeah same as what I received. But the model on it - mtjv3za/a does match with that of AU stock. I came across another Ozbargain post where multiple users also commented that their AirPod pro 2s bought from OW/JB/Amazon all said ‘For Malaysia’ but they seem to be genuine Aussie stock: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/863088
Thanks! They also can get AppleCare added so will add that! Thanks for confirming
@v7dal: Also just curious, what did the purchase date for your AirPods show up as when you search the serial number? Was it the date you placed the order (19th) or was it the date you activated the AirPods or something earlier? Or in other words when does it say the warranty expires? Thanks!
@Meowdini: A friend of mine purchased the cheaper one through Mydeal (not the Wireless1) version, and his came up as purchased in May. He tried to contact Apple to change the purchase date on the Apple system, but they refused to do it because they claimed that it was purchased through an unauthorised Apple reseller. He was not happy. Not sure what he will be doing next. Like others have said here, paying the extra $30 might have been worth the hassle.
@Meowdini: Not sure but if you have proof Apple can adjust the date (for Aus stock). So I have until November 18th to get AppleCare which is 60 days from purchase date being the 19 sept.
I say not sure cause I spoke to Apple before checking
@v7dal: Oh that’s reassuring. When you activated the AirPods does it already have a purchase date? Or did it say purchase date could not be verified etc?
@Meowdini: I stupidly called apple before activating. So I’m assuming they inputted the details idk. Either way I would only go with when you purchased it. Just curious how come you’re asking this?
@v7dal: Ah okay thanks for confirming! I bought this for a friend whose birthday is end of the month so I’m not the one opening it. Just didn’t want to encounter any hiccups with the purchase date listed being way earlier than when she would actually start using it so she could still get AppleCare. Sorry if that came across weird before.
@Meowdini: You’ll be fine then! Apple can always change date to your purchase date so you’ll have till nov 18th to get AppleCare. Just note for first 30 days from purchase you can sign up through your phone and the next 30 is only through Apple Store inspection.
Is a new version coming soon?
