  • What are good uses for these? Would they work in a proxmox or kubernetes cluster?

    • Overkill probably, the main reason to pay more for AMD stuff is for the iGPU.

  • Is there a way you can use these things as an android TV box?

    • ditto, am keen to understand if these can do AV1 decoding.

Also how about Dolby Atmos, etc

      • +1

This can only do AV1 via software

  • Any info about idle power consumption?

  • Are these much quicker than their N100's, can't run a basic game on those ones.

    • Much faster - 6 faster cores vs 4 low power cores in the N100, much better GPU.

But you are paying about $150 extra vs a cheap N100 box (from different brands).

Also, N100 is limited to 16G ram - I think this one supports up to 64G

      • Sweet thanks

For anyone looking at this but want a better cpu & gpu, there is the Minisforum UM760 for $479 (https://www.amazon.com.au/MINISFORUM-UM760-Slim-Processor-Co…)

It's not on special, so not worthy of a bargain post, but for the extra $70 you get zen4 cores and a 760M gpu which is significantly better than the 660M (and slightly better than 680M as well).
