@ssn: I got a Thailand variant on mine. Did yours have some Thai writings on the box and a leaflet written in Thai?
@Haunt: Yes saw the leaflet in Thai with the red logo. I need to check the airpods 3 box which i purchased from Apple.
@Haunt: Also got a Thailand sticker! Just opened mine yesterday. Sounds a bit weird to me.. never tried ANC before.. but it feels like it makes weird noises / sounds / popping sounds here and there… any chance this is normal?
@ssn: Oh yes I experience that too! I think that's because the chip is trying to block sudden spikes in noise, I found that happens often when i'm walking beside a busy road with lots of cars and it pops when there's a sudden loud noise like a car horn, an ambulance, a car revving, etc. I hope this gets fixed in a software update later on, i'm hopeful that Apple collects data like these from users.
@Haunt: Ohhh so its not just be experiencing this… that is truly weird hey… really hope they do fix it cos it feels very annoying when it happens.. that too very constantly.. and I've only tried it in my quite room so far with birds chirping outside at most.
Does the ANC work with android?
Yes. Works pretty well for this sort of eat fit. You can switch between modes using the input on the airpods without apple device

I had a wtf moment after trying them on; these are really good! The ANC works surprisingly well, and the sound quality is a step up from the AirPods 3.

Adding to the others that received mine and they are as described. Very excellent ANC and thankfully a great fit for my ears.
I could also add AppleCare+ through my iPhone.
Got mine too, very impressed and definitely prefer it over my pro gen 2. Fits perfectly and ANC is awesome. Bass and overall sound slightly lower compared to pro gen 2 for obvious reasons but overall definitely will stick to these.
Just got mine this morning. The model is what was described (MXP93ZA/A) however, I believe I got a Thailand variant.
On the side of the box there were some Thai writings, and inside the box I got a leaflet written in Thai with some regulatory words from NBTC Telecommunications, which, apparently is a Thai regulatory agency. I used google lens to translate the leaflet.
I am not sure how the warranty would work out since I got a Thai variant, but I am still able to add AppleCare+ Coverage on these.
Aside from that, the airpods seems to be genuine and I can't believe how good the ANC is on these things!
Also if anyone also got the same variant as me do let me know. I'm curious to see if everyone got the same variant or different ones.

I bought my AirPods 3 from the Apple Store in Sydney when they launched and it had Thai leaflets in the box.
Oh really? Did it had the thai leaflet with the red logo as well? If so, that’s good to hear. Pretty weird to get a Thai variant Australian stock but if that’s the case then I should be all good then.
Yeah, there was this exact Thai leaflet with a red logo, seems like certain Apple products sold in Australia come with it.
I have talked to 2 reps: Mobileciti and Wireless1, and both have confirmed that they have sourced the Apple products locally (ie AU stock)

Macapp and Wireless 1 are the same company. It’s just that one of it is a sister company of the other
