    I went to Officeworks and they didn't have anything setup for the iphone 16 launch nor did they have stock. The warehouse does though so I ordered and will get it shipped home next week for free. They price matched Costco no problems (I ordered iPhone 16 256gb).

    • You must have got lucky! Enjoy the bargain. OW staff are usually quite pedantic (in my experience) on verifying that the item is in stock at the cheaper place.

      These days they don’t even trust what I show them on my device, and have to be able to search/view stock availability on their own terminals.

    • how'd you manage to get it price matched (its supposed to be beaten by %5 no?)
      I gave them a call when i saw stock for the phone i wanted and they rejected the price beat cause costco had no stock

      • Probably the colour, Costco had white and i think desert in stock but not the other 2 for this model

      • Yeah Costco still had stock of a few colours at the time of my purchase, and I chose one of those colours.

    Costco out of stock for iPhone 16 Pro 128GB now - tried twice on phone line and was unable to price match.

  • Ordered for in-store pick up. Said it'd be available today. Still 'in transit'.

  • Went in store but they wouldn't even let me order one, apparently a whole heap of phones didn't come to the warehouse. They say that they don't know how many they will get Apple just gives them what they give them and yea a bunch did not show up that's why any of the popular ones show as out of stock and they have no ETA when more are coming. The store I went to said they received a whopping 2 phones total…. and this is a big store in a major CBD hub.

  • There is no stock available in store or online before 23rd sept for the new Apple iPhone or watch release. If we order now for click and collect on 23rd - can still get Flybuys points for this ?

  • Cheers OP! Managed to get OW to price beat Costco for iPhone 16 128GB black, price after beat = $1282.00, additionally minus $50 gift card, rounding the total to $1232.00.

    Edit: how long does it take for transactions to show up on OnePass app or flybuys app? Both are already linked.

    Getting nervous now. Ordered on 19 Sept with next day estimate, estimate changed to mid October, order still in "processing", no points anywhere.

      Same here, ordered on the 22nd and I’m on backorder too. There is still no update to my flybuys points. I may give officeworks a ring tomorrow if it doesn’t change by then.

        Noticed on the order confirmation

        Flybuys points for eligible products will be credited into your account within 2 business days after your order has been delivered or picked up.

        Seems different to the offer details

        all points should be awarded by Wednesday 25 September

        OnePass says

        Transactions may take several hours to appear.

      Purchased in store on 21/09 and still no points…

      • I paid 22/9 and pickup up yesterday. Today I got 5x points only. I have emailed Onepass about it.

          • @yezipeng924: I emailed them repeatedly and was assured the 10x bonus points would be added by midnight last night. Nothing so far.

    "… receiving many requests today with regards to the bonus points. Officeworks confirmed the points would be added today"

    I contacted OnePass support yesterday - was told the bonus points would appear by 11.59pm.

    But today no bonus points yet, so I contacted them again. Told the same thing - the bonus points will appear tonight at 11.59pm.

    What a frustrating experience.

    This promo was good on face value, but turning out to be such a pain that in hindsight, I would have passed.

    Got some bs answer from support without explanations

    "Please be advised that the points will be awarded in intervals with all points awarded no later than Sun 20 Oct 2024."

    Got this from OnePass support just now:

    "Please be advised that additional bonus points should be in your Flybuys account by 26th September so long as you have collected your Click & Collect order or you have received your delivery and it was collected/received more than 48 hours ago. In-store purchases will get your points today. Points are awarded 48 hours post fulfilment."

    And for those who are in the backorder situation like I am:

    "We do apologize for the delay of points, Once you received your delivery, you need to wait within 48 hours to add the missing bonus points to your Flybuys account."

    So that's a bit of a pain.

    • Slightly confused with the wording there. Does that mean we have to actively add the missing points within the 48hrs after collection? Or will they automatically add this within 48hrs after collection?

    Got the 5x Standard one pass points, but not the 10/15x bonus..

    Submitted a request to Flybuys and got a response to wait 4 weeks and submit again if they havent dropped… /sigh

      I haven't received mine since collecting on the weekend and really don't wanna chase them.

      Onepass said it’s after collection of phone (I will be picking mine up today). So I’ll see then.

      But here’s the response I got from Flybuys Team “ Please be advised that the bonus points for this promotion will be awarded in intervals, with all points awarded no later than Sunday, 20 October 2024. If you don’t see the points by that time, just reach out to us, and we’ll gladly assist you further.”

    • I picked up mine on Saturday and still waiting on points.

  • I bought a Mac on 22nd Sep, and didn't received 15x points till week later. Then I returned it on 28th Sep and got my refund directly from Officeworks.

    However, I just received the 15x points today. Anybody knows why? will they process the points to be returned later?
