Swiss Army Knife 89% off - Was $62.50, Now $6.95 Plus $10 Postage

Probably a hugely inflated RRP, but they are asking $61.88 plus $10.10 postage at Topbuy:

This is the very small version NOT THE NORMAL SIZE (6.5cm) Would be helpful to note in the header

  • Pretty good deal, considering Victorinox owns Wenger, so it's bound to be top quality.

I don't agree with your logic there at all; Wenger got bought out because they weren't viable anymore after 9/11.

Now don't take this the wrong way, but how about

"Mars Petcare is owned by the same company that makes Mars Bars, so their tinned dogfood is not only fit for human consumption, its sweet as"

      [edit]
and no-one in their right mind would ever pay the bs rrp of $62.50.

shipping kills the deal, bought some of this for ~10aud at camping surplus in their clearance bin.

    • Is this a real knife?? Looks like a PS picture….

      • It is real, meant to be a collector's item. You obviously wouldn't carry it in your pocket.

They showed it in a documentary on Megafactories, pretty cool.

        • was also on top gear australia
          "which one cuts?"
          "they all cut"
opens it to a nail file

Absolute rubbish RRP. Not a bargain.

he has made this comment in the post - the point of the post is not the discount but rather the actual price of the deal…
I think you are negging for the heck of it.

  • Not a bad price. I can't live without mine, I always have one on my key ring. Broken a few but generally pick them up for 20-25$ when i have to replace them.

What the hell, 2 blades, 1 scissor and 1 picking forcep for RRP $62.50? Got to be freaking kidding me.

    • +2

Reps are not st by the seller. Not a very fair neg.

  • I bought one with engraving in Swizerland for 8 euros, totally useless, lost before returning to Melbourne….

  • Price seems to be back up to $62.50 to me

    • I guess the price is still around 7 bucks, you just need to click on Wenger link rather than topbuy link.

  • So this is what the Swiss military actually do to kill time since they've not actually had to go into combat for the last few centuries eh? :P

  • I think they're fixing the price as you can no longer buy it. It comes up with an error. Price must have been a typo
