Coles Mobile 365 Days Recharge 120GB (60 + 60 Bonus) $96 for Existing Customers

150

Received the below email from Coles Mobile. Similar to this deal but recharge only & without any flybuys points. I paid $96 for 60GB data during last two year recharges, and find it decent to pay another 24 for 60 GB with 365 days expiry this year without the hassle of additional Boost data sims.

Score 60GB bonus data on us when you recharge your service via the online dashboard or the app before 14/10/2024 on any available 365 Day plan.

Your recharge will expire on 09/10/2024. Please note if you recharge early, unused inclusions and expiry remaining on your current recharge may be lost. The best time to recharge is just before expiry.

To be eligible for the bonus data you must recharge on any available 365 day plan before 14/10/2024. Excludes recharge vouchers.

  • This post is confusing. Are you saying it's $96 for 60 gb? Not a great deal then. Used to be $120 for 120 gb when you auto recharge. Of course they have raised their prices now. I think lebara, amaysim, kogan now have better value. But Optus vs Voda, and both are fairly average for speeds and coverage.

    • +2

The $120 plan was 60GB as the base data allowance. Not everyone uses every last megabyte of the quota. In my case, I think I was under 40GB for the year. With the data offered as compensation for the major outage, I have 60GB to use in the last two months of my plan, BEFORE dipping into 50GB banked from previous renewals.

$96 for 12 months is a good value mobile plan. It is less than half the price of the basic Amaysim 365 day plan. And even without the discount, it is less than the $160 Lebara plan. The bonus data means that even without the discounted price, it matches the Kogan $120/120GB plan.

      • Yep sorry the 120GB used to be $150 but you could regularly get it for $120

  • $$..?

  • Cheapest long life expiry plan out there.

If you don't give a crap about massive amounts of data, under $100 for 12 months of use = $8 per month. Perfect kids phone plan if you instruct them to use wifi at school and home (and then minimal data use when in between).

    • It's not just the data, you forget to mention receiving any calls also.

  • Did you get this offer because your plan is about to expire? My Coles mobile plan expires end of Dec and have been hoping for a cheap recharge for it.

    • Yes.

      • Did you have auto recharge switched on or off? (Presume off.)

  • Damm , I recharged mine 2 weeks ago at $120………..

  • Esim?

    • coles mobile does not support esim.

Boost, kogan, lebara, lyca are best for esim IMO.

  • I got 60GB bonus data, that’s it. Still $120 and got it around 1 months before expiring.

    • Why would you renew a month before expiry? Ran out of data?

      • I got offered by Coles 1 month before my contract expired (25th September). Offer still valid till 30th September, I haven’t recharged yet.

        • Now I understand. Thanks. Did you have auto renew on or off?

  • I received the same email about bonus 60GB data, but nothing about the discounted to $96. The $96 discounted price was last year's renewal.

  • if any deals that at least 60GB at reasonable price…below $80 could be better tho. for me i don't use that much data anyway…rather have 2 of 60GB plans at low cost because of multi-phone numbers and low data.

  • Mine is up for renewal…. Seems like they are rolling over the previous price (I got that in the txt message).

    Email says:

We’re letting you know that your recharge for service on the $120 Coles Mobile Plan will be expiring on 24/10/2024.

We recently introduced new plans to the Coles Mobile family, and at the same time, we said goodbye to some of our older ones. As part of this change, you might notice your current plan is no longer being offered to new customers.

We’re just letting you know that the current changes don’t affect your plan. You can continue to recharge as you normally would, and keep enjoying your great plan inclusions.

  • like many of US around here looking for cheapest plans as possible because of low data usage while for some have high data will find ripoff or expensive…seems good for me really.
