For those into niche fragrances, Maison Margiela's Replica Jazz Club 100ml EDT is on sale at Your Discount Chemist for $149.95, down from $235. This line doesn't normally go on sale. They also have other fragrances available from the line. However, I can only recommend jazz club and by the fireplace.

Fragrances have a shelf life….
This looks interesting. Sadly, I bought a bit too much EDT in Italy a couple of months ago, otherwise I would've pulled the trigger.
Bella chow
You poor bugger.
Probably common sense when you see it, but these bottles do not travel well. Threw mine in a toiletries bag without thinking and after a short domestic flight had a nearly empty bottle, and an overly fragrant bag…
nah, worth saying, we all often do something like that in haste.
We all make mistakes in the heat of passion Jimbo
They are thin glass
Not sure if you read, but they already pointed out that they had made a mistake. There was really no benefit to your subsequent comment pointing it out again.
That’s for your comment dad
@Wiadro: Keep that bucket on your head, pal. I'll let you know when it's safe to remove.
Could've been that the sprayer came loose. Or the seal isn't good. Or the fragrance is made of xenomorph blood.
@umexcuseme: If it's made of xenomorph blood, then I want whatever bag Srey owns
Oh, it didn't break, just seemed to leak through the lid/spray assembly.
In any case, good deal here OP, I've got a bottle. Will have to get myself a mini sprayer to decant into for travel.
Travelled plenty of times with fragrances from this line. You should pack better
I open my bottles and dispense perfume into good 10ml glass ones I got from Amazon
I can have 1 at home 1 in the bag and they don't leak (had them for 12 months)
Can you please link these traveller glass ones you use
Very nice op
The performance of the fragrances made by this brand are really poor. They just don’t last and it’s not worth the price for an EDT.
I use the By the Fireplace replica and unfortuantely can agree with you. I travel with it for touch ups and the bottle lasts long enough but have been considering chipping in the extra money for an EDP just because having to touch up is mildly annoying.
Conversely I have no trouble with Lazy Sunday lasting maybe 6h at least, which is pretty good for EDT especially one that’s not at all in the heavy range.
Best go to MECCA and ask for a sample and try them out yourself.
Or just buy reps from Asēdos and save your money.
Huh? I have at the Barber Shop / Coffee Break and they last ages.
I sold coffee break as well. Poor performer. There are better out there. Especially at that price point.
Damnit. There goes my no spending money this weekend weekend. And it's only early Friday night. And I'm drinking.
Although the reviews of the website aren't great. Ha. Drinking. Roll the dice.
DItch that and Get some Gentle Fluidity Silver !
Smell vaguely of Gin at all times :) Seriously though, it's really nice.
Fantastic winter/autumn boozy fragrance. Arguably the best of the Replica line, I have gone through half a bottle myself.
I would usually get one for this price but a bit hesitant now as I recently scored by the fireplace under $100 from the L’Oréal family and friends deal.
I really love this cologne, but i can also say its not for everyone. For every fragrance there isnt really a lot of safe blind buys, and this isnt one of them. One of its major notes is tobacco, and thats not a universally loved scent. So definitely, this is a good deal, but go out and smell it on your own skin first if you can.
My personal experience was that I liked the scent quite a lot, but it was hit or miss around with friends and random people id meet. Some loved it, some sort of went "ehhhh youve smelled nicer"
Does it has phthalates in it?
After a quick Google I don’t see why it would, they’re mainly used as plasticisers…
Fragrance is almost entirely pure alcohol and essential oils (and marketing)
Well if PFAS is in my water, then I need a disclosure to make sure cheap phthalates isn't in my perfume?
I've been eyeing this Natural perfume
I'd say not worth messing with EDT at this $/ml
you can get some premium EDP intense from local David Jones twice this price for 100ml. it will last longer, you'll use less, and cheaper in the long run. win-win
Armani fan, I often buy 180ml or 200ml refills, EDP direct from them for under $200 on specials, esp. family and friends deals. last me forever
but of course, I mean, each to their own.
Replica isn’t available in EDP / Intenso, if you want the scent this is it, or a rep.
I've been in a few Jazz clubs and don't know that I want to replicate that smell to be honest…
is this cheaper in airport duty free or Europe
Just get this for $33:
https://asedos.com.au/products/nutty-juniper
It’s a replica (of a Replica) but will smell very, very close to the original. It’s the fragrant oils without the carrier alcohol so it’s very pungent and you only need light dabs so it lasts forever.
Plus these are amazing for travel since they’re tiny (good for carry on) and don’t seem to suffer from air pressure change-induced leakages.
Cheaper at Amazon: 103.44 with $9.95 shipping: https://www.amazon.com.au/Replica-Jazz-Club-Toilette-Spray/d…
Only 1 left in stock
Now that's a bargain! Damnit!
Thats only 30ml
Wouldn't put too much of it on by the fireplace!!
