4 Dress Shirts for $100 Delivered @ Van Heusen

360

Van Heusen pretty regularly does 3 shirts for $100, but the 4 shirt deal is a little rarer.

They're not the best shirts, but they're pretty great at $25 a pop.

One thing I particularly like is they have a few different cuts, I've actually been able to find shirts that fit me well, unlike some other brands.

Free shipping over $100, don't know if that's $100 and up or if it's $101 and up, I'm sure you can work it out.

  • We offer 30 day refunds on products, including returns on products if you simply change your mind. This is available on all full priced and promotional products and incorrect sized purchases. In order to qualify for the refund, items purchased must be returned in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, tags attached). Refunds will only be processed using the original payment method. A completed return form must accompany all claims made. We do not offer exchanges, only refunds. Online orders cannot be returned or exchanged in stores, the order must be returned via online.

If sizes don't match, does anyone know if it is free return? (says unworn - assuming testing to see if size fits is considered worn?)

Worn means tags removed and physically worn out and/or washed (i.e. used).

Trying on is not considered used (no different to trial in fitting rooms in stores) and can be returned.

Van Heusen are generally very low quality products so expect to return them.

Super average quality shirts in my experience. $25 a pop sounds about right.

    • ^^^ This, when I started working ~10 years ago I heard that this was a solid brand.

After 10 years of experience with plenty of these shirts, they tend to last 1-2 years before they start falling apart (assuming they are worn 50 times a year each on a 5-shirt rotating basis).

It's not horrible at $23-25 a pop but not something to even consider at RRP.

For someone like who only go in office for 1 day a week. These are just fine. But for regular office workers, these will fall apart.

One more thing to consider is shrinkage. They tend to get tighter as the wash cycles increase.

I signed up a new email for $20 off $100+ spend, stacks with this offer. Got 5 shirts for $105 delivered. Code was VHW20-12J0-NPW6

    • Code worked for me too, Thankyou !!!

  • How do these shirts compare with Charles Tyrwhitt?

    • +4

Please bear in mind that I haven't bought a Van Heusen shirt for many years…I used to buy them a lot when I was younger thinking that they were a decent brand however I learnt better and have not looked back. From my experience, they are very ordinary quality. Thin cotton with Cuffs, collars will start fraying after a year or two in the wash. Fit was massive, you will have heaps hanging out of your waist. They are nowhere near the level of Charles Tyrwhitt.

      • What are your go to shirts? Can you recommend any brands?

        • I have a fair number of Charles Tyrwhitt shirts, and would recommend them but only when they are on sale. Make sure you check out their sizing guide to get the best fit for you. Please note that it has been years since I have purchased from them as I now have a wardrobe full of business shirts and also work wear is more casual these days, so I don't need them as much as I used to.

You have to be pretty high-waisted to keep these shirts tucked in if you need to move at the shoulders at all.

    • Harry Highpants?

    • I've been wearing these shirts for years and now that you say this I totally get it.

What other brands have shirts that don't have this issue and have a similar cut to the Van Heusen classic fit?

      • CT shirts don't have this issue IMO. Very rarely do I have to tuck back in.

        • thanks, will keep an eye out for a sale

            • @CodeXD: Is that considered cheap for CT shirts?
They used to do 4 for $99 a few years back from memory but obviously inflation etc.

@bonezAU: Personally I don't think it will get that cheap again. Best deal from what I can find on ozbargain is 3 shirts for $99 with free delivery, and this is when I first bought them. Their shirts have lasted quite a few years and still look new. I bought more 2 weeks ago as my size have changed and they have already arrived.

    • Thanks for the heads up. This is my exact issue with shirts in general, they're never long enough where it matters.

  • Can confirm Van Heusen shirts have very thin material for the full RRP.

If you're wearing a light colour to the office you may need to wear a shirt underneath or you could be oversharing. If you're after a cheap basic white shirt, I've found Kmart is alright. Otherwise Uniqlo for everything else.

  • Learnd quality over quantity…the quality of Van Heusen is so sht. Not sure if Myers still stock them but go try before you buy.
