Bargain, got the game last night, sadly having issues using my Logitech g920. For $1.50 it’s definitely worth it
Wheel support appears to be severely lacking - there's virtually no force feedback at all. I've had to resort to using a gamepad.
How come on history it has 2 times where it has been free? That cant be true
Good question, I don't know for sure. Perhaps scrape error or it captured price based on a sub (like GPU or Ubi+), or due that banner noting no price history tracking for AMZN, given their affiliate relationship.
Maybe a free trial weekend or something like that. Definitely a glitch in the matrix.

It has VMProtect unfortunately, but I’m pretty sure you can still play it on Steam Deck if you use a Windows installation.
Hopefully they get rid of DRM once the game shuts down its online modes and is pulled from digital stores, as that seems to be the reason DRM is used for The Crew 2.I read that it has BattleEye, which effectively rules it out from running on Linux machines / Steamdeck. Sad, but yeah, hopefully they'll remove the anti-cheats once it becomes offline-only.
Anyone familar know how much the DLC adds? Seems odd to discount the base game 98% and nothing on DLC.
It's likely getting delisted due to licensing issues, hence the discount
I did as Ubisoft said, I got comfortable with not owning The Crew by not buying it

already own the ultimate edition on ubi connect now i can hopefully download and launch via steam for some reason i'll now run two launchers to play the crew
sometimes the things i do make no sense, but it's only $1.50
can get $1.50 back if u got prime counterstrike2 drops and play some of that for the free casedrops

Bought it. Spent hours trying to get it to not crash to desktop after hitting "Continue" on the menu to actually play. All kinds of suggestions from reinstalling, to reinstalling BattleEye to unlinking accounts (No I'm not giving up all my prime Ubisoft stuff by unlinking Amazon!), to driver updates, different machine…lots of others encountering this with no suport.
Refunded. Serves me right. That was my last time paying for a Ubisoft game.
Yeah, the only fix is to unlink your Amazon account from Ubisoft - tried it and it works, no more crashes. Will just link my Amazon account whenever I need to redeem a free Prime Ubisoft game in future (they're pretty rare, usually it's GOG or Epic nowadays anyway).
That has worked for some people, not all. There was a warning that I'd lose linked Amazon games when I unlink, so I didn't go through with it. **ck The Crew 2.
Unlinking is fine. I still have access to AC Origins from Prime for example.
