Jonsbo Z20 TemperedGlass mATX Case A$85.91 + Delivery ($0 with A$300 Order) @ PB Technologies, NZ

120

Decided to build my own PC since the pre-mades here seem to lose their value proposition if you want to want any customisation.

This case has great reviews and ticks almost all the boxes for me - small, aesthetic, mATX - just wish it came with a mesh side.

Only other local place that has this available is PLE which has it for $119 +$25 delivery

White and black both available at this price, other colours are a little extra. $9 delivery to Sydney.

First deal post pls be gentle

  • will the glass arrive intact?

    • If it doesn't then it's up to pbtech to provide a solution - sellers are responsible for the goods during delivery

I went with a Jonsbo D30 build for the missus, they really have some great stuff, all arrived intact and well packaged.
I did run into clearance issues with my chosen GPU and Fans, ended up having to change to a D40 to fix it, and repurposed the D30 for another build.
No other issues with either case though.

They have some pretty cool new options in the same format, if your interested.
I like the D31 Mesh Screen, which can sometimes be had around this price.

My partner got that case (but d41 version) and they love it. They put a virtual pet game on the front screen. The only downside to those cases is that cable management is a channel at the back where any cable thicker than a few mm must go vs just having a decent clearence all over as a lot of other cases, which makes good cable management finnicky, but the metal strip covering the psu/(and if using, sata harddrives) is also useful to cover the psu cables which makes lazy management achievable so long as no-one looks behind that metal strip lol

It is tight, to be sure, but I managed to make it work, having a little experience in cable management in ITX scenarios.

The panel you mentioned that covers the PSU at the front of the side panel, I got a bit creative here, and mounted an SSD to the real of the panel intead of the front as intended. Then I mounted a long LCD screen from AliExpress to the front (mine is the pre-screen model as that hadn't been released yet). I had to rewire one of the USB header plugs, as I'd run out, but once I got my head out of that, it was a simple affair. When I finally get around to setting up my 3D printer, I'll be printing a white cover to secure the screen and hide the 2 cables a little nicer than they are, but it looks pretty great as is TBH.

The Lian Li Dan A3 is very similar but doesn’t have a glass side panel FYI

26L vs 20L - how is that similar?
