[Pre Order] Apple AirPods 4 With Active Noise Cancellation $279.99 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

300

Just watched some youtube "first look" reviews at the Apple event
the new Airpod 4 with noice cancelling seems to be one of the surprisingly good product in this release
while it might be not hard to get a pair of Airpod Pro 2 (USB-C) with similar price range
not everyone likes the in-ear design with silicon tip (i.e I always drop my Airpod Pro2 when I am eating while wearing on them)

Currently RRP is $299 and Costco price save $19
which is not bad as a newly released product

Pre-Order Stock. Item will ship from 20th September 2024.

Not sure whether we can price-beat with other retailers such officeworks

Maybe it's worth to pay a bit more to get the Airpods Pro 2.

    • or wait for the Airpods Pro 3

    • +3

It depends. In-ear earphones are not comfortable for me so I’d prefer this.

There’s a comparison at the end of this page between Airpods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation. Pro 2 is still better and has been this price and cheaper before. Unless of course, you prefer the form factor of this.

yea, agree that it's not too hard to get Airpod pro 2 at this price point (or paying a little more)
personally, I got both Airpod 3 and Airpod Pro 2, and at the end I have been using Airpod 3 way more than the Pro due to the comfortability
Probably a personal choice and option

      • Agree 100%
        Doing the same as you

AirPods 3 much better for daily use. My pro 2 I’ve used maybe 4 times max

        • I didn''t quite like the AirPods 3 fit, so I've been using and re-buying airpods 2. Will be interested in getting the AirPods 4, but worried about fitment again…

          • @ATangk: my guess they'll be quite similar.

            • @Soldier: Hard to say since they changed the design once again.

      • Just double checking that you tried the smaller/bigger tips in the AirPod pro 2’s? They’re hidden in the box underneath the cutout/imprint for the AirPods. Heaps of people miss them.

  • it is pretty noice

If you're basing your purchase on an influencer/tech YT channel who gets PROVIDED hardware from the company and expect that to be unbiased, don't be surprised if it turns out to be a nugget.

  • the new Airpod 4 noice cancelling

    Noice! 👍

  • Anyone know why the Apple Watch SE is for pre-order when it’s the second gen? Hasn’t this been out from 2022?

    • +2

Apparently it cause of the new bands options.

Btw Airpods 4 doesn't come with charging cable anymore.

    • No biggie, it's USB C anyway

  • Feeling Apple has lost their passion for innovation..

  • Very noice

  • I’m guessing Officeworks doesn’t price beat Costco because of the membership?

    • +1

I think they do. I price matched iPhone before.

    • Officeworks do. They don’t price match preorder items

      • Ah, makes sense. Will try for a little luck when they drop!

  • Anyone know the difference between Apple Watch SE that apparently is a new release, vs the SE from 2022?

not everyone likes the in-ear design with silicon tip (i.e I always drop my Airpod Pro2 when I am eating while wearing on them)

That’s the problem I have with the normal AirPods. I can’t understand how people think these are stable. The Pro actually sits inside your ear canal whereas this is just resting on the groove of your ear and can fall out very easily.

    • It depends on the ear. I have a habit of falling asleep wearing my 3’s and more often than not they’re still in when I wake up.
