  Wow! Clearly Samsung aren’t worried about the iPhone 16 pro! The Ultra’s deal is no better than what we’ve seen all year, would’ve thought they would at least up the trade in values to lure some iPhone sales away.

  75" Online Exclusive QE1D QLED 4K Smart TV (QA75QE1DAWXXY) - $1599
  65" Online Exclusive QE1D QLED 4K Smart TV (QA65QE1DAWXXY) - $1274.25

  They are equivalent to the Q60D units, per rtings
  The Samsung QE1D is a Samsung store online exclusive that performs the same

  It's a very average (not terrible, not great) TV and $1600 for 75" is probably about right for the performance.
  A TCL C755 or Hisense U7N, on sale, would provide far better picture quality. Whether the average Joe would notice it is another question.

  Bought a fold6.

  Have never had such bad customer service from a major company in my life.

  pre order, but only came 2 weeks ago (5 weeks after lunch date).

  Kept saying it was coming, or systems error and other BS. Said I couldn't ask for a refund and they'd talk about compensation but only once its been delivered.

  Since it came 2 week ago I've sent 3 emails and they've ghosted me.

  Laughable now at how bad they are and I'll never be buying Samsung again.

    Have you bought from Samsung before? Whilst I feel for your situation, it seems to happen to some degree every release. Their logistics are probably the worst in Australia.

      Yeah. I bought my Fold3 and had no issues.

      This is the first time so was a bit shocked. But read online its pretty common and they are terrible.

      Its not just logistics. Its the customer service. Like they lied… kept saying it was a unit issue, then a transport issue, then another thing. Zero straight answers.

      But yeah apparently its a thing - I just never knew about it..

    RIP I would never preorder a phone nowadays, there are so many choices out there and the depreciation of phones are so quick by the time you make a decision it will be cheaper and you wouldn't have to worry about any logistics issues (even preordering from Apple won't guarantee the phone on the day).

    Got my Fold 5 for $700~ no trade in and they delivered it in days.

  I haven't been keeping up with new phone discounts when the competitors new phones drop, but what are the chances of these getting much cheaper after the release of iPhone 16 this month? I realise nobody here has crystal balls but could somebody who has more idea than me on this subject please give me their opinion? Or is it better to wait for S25 release early next year? I'm in no mad rush to upgrade from my S20+ , but I'm itchy for an upgrade :) .

  I just checked on the Shop App and I can get the 512GB Ultra for $1,580.29 with the 5% app discount and $129 I have in Samsung rewards points. Not sure if it will get much cheaper than that in the near future considering I can't get access to Edu store prices.
