how about 480p on Minesweeper 1994???

  • When you say tiktok and youtube, so you mean simultaneously? Or is it only enough for one at a time.

Need to know before I pull the trigger

You can watch 16 at a time because it has 16 cores, simple maths

    it's iGPU can run crysis

    comparable to NVIDIA GT 1030

    • The iGPU in a 2011 AMD Llano can run Crysis 2, this should be able to run crysis 8

      • can probably run crisis remastered 30-60fps low settings

8000/9000 series iGPU apparently much better

hmm, why is AMD cpu expensive these days? i7-14700K is cheaper retail with better specs… $559 at centrecom -

performance aside, those Intel chips might have manufacturing defects.

Lol so can amd, not trying to bash on amd.. I have a 5600x and that has been going strong. But yeah amd cpu prices have a premium now ;/

Nah, Intel 13 and 14th gen at the high end have some serious issues to resolve above the usual.

If your interested, google it, or even try watching a little about it on Hardware Unboxed on YouTube.

Ignoring the issues with 13th/14th gen Intel, the 14700K only has 8 P-Cores, the rest are much slower E-cores so for most multicore tasks will perform worse on the 14700K than the 7950X.

      • Oh what!? That's interesting.. didnt know about e cores!! Dam that's like a scam lol

        • +1

Not a scam, more just a different architectural approach

      It's the rustless CPU tax

    • Because AMD has the 7800X3D thats the worlds fastest gaming CPU while doing it at 60-80w
AMDs 7950 and 9950 26 Core CPU's are great at multi core workloads. Comparable to intel while using half the power

Intel on the other hand has the 14900k thats around 10% slower while gaming at around 240w ( insane power draw )

So it pumps out lots of heat into your PC and requires expensive cooling.. Intel has discovered a major defect in its CPU's that are making them degrade really fast.. sometimes within a few months causing them to crash the PC's "its a common issue. NOT RARE.

People are returning them under warranty but unless they reduce the high intel default single core voltage in bios the degradation may return again… This has also effected some laptops and stability issues are a big turn off when spending big bux on a high end CPU.. so everyone is just buying AMD and its causing the prices to go up.

All this was intels doing.. They wanted to try and beat AMD on day one reviews of their 13th and 14th gen CPU's so they maxed out the single core voltages and single core clocks (Ghz).. even at the rink of CPU degradation. (CPU Electromigration ) they deserve zero sympathy and all the blame

  • Can I run DOOM with this and a RTX 4090?
    I am worried I won't have a powerful enough pc :(

    • Maybe at low settings 720p

  • Any good mobo recommendations

    Says $827 for me
