Love mine, bought a second one as back up
Do you think it may break down soon?
No, but I just regularly use something that can fit in such right spaces. Would hate to lose mine and not have a back up one.
Had one ratchet break. 2nd one was a different design and seems to be stronger
Came to say i love my 27 piece set! Ive used it so much im thinking of buying a second to leave upstairs or in the car!
Bosch Green? Blasphemy. Blue or GTFO. LOL, nah these will be fine for home use.
Material High Speed Steel
A what now
So why does Bosch have another set that looks very similar? Why would I take one over the other.
Ooooo, I have OP's one but this one looks nicererer!
And why is the Ƨ the wrong way round?
LOL 😂
Oh, it's not wrong—Bosch just wanted to keep you on your toes. When you close the kit, the 'S' gets its act together. It's like a tool kit and a puzzle in one!
Oh wow the handle is tiny. Wouldn’t everyone be better off with a longer handle, even for home use / tight spaces?
Nope. The short handle works for very tight spaces where. I have a 9cm ratchet that part of a bike emergency maintenance kit that I recently used when detaching/reattaching the rear bumper of my car. it meant I could get to the screws in the wheel-hub without having to remove the tire. a longer ratchet wouldn't have worked because there's not enough space.
This is what I have: https://www.topeak.com/global/en/product/1075-RATCHET-ROCKET…
I love mine but does anyone else have this and with their fat fingers, accidentally hit the switch every now and then and wonder why it's not working? 😅
I might try their updated kit because I like this form factor soo much.
The 27 bits set is no longer $20 😮💨
This is so so handy
Damn just missed it. All OOS
I bought one of these a while ago but the ratchet broke the first time I used it, and I was only using it on a model RC car. So I don't recommend this.
The 26 or 27?
How many ugga duggas torque did you use matey?
The 26-bit set is available on Aliexpress for about $20 if you're willing to chance it. They're all made in China anyway…
Bought the Trojan stubby set from Bunnings for $25 and I would hazard to guess that it will last as long as this set.
I've had plenty of these types of bits-sets over the years… they're all as good as each other. The bits are good enough if using with hand tools. Put then in a power drill, they're all pretty soft and the philips-head bits end up stripped without too much effort.
Yep, only impact ready bits in power tools. I have one of those DeWalt ones for that.
27 piece is on sale again for $20
A blast from the past, though I'm afraid those prices are also a thing of the past.
