I have the 65W version of this.. best charger I've ever had, smaller than a pack of ciggies, stays pretty cool. gets my nothing phone 2a from 10-80% in 25 minutes. Would recommend.

    • I got the same one 65W it works great, and I can't believe 100W version same price now.

If you would have told me a decade ago that we'd one day have 101 different protocols for USB charging, I would have said you were nuts.

    • what standard does xiaomi poco phones use?

my f3 and xiaomi mi 11i have 33w turbo charge but like i need the xiaomi cable for it to wrok ..

    • The Zyron 65W is $31.99 and the 100W Gan 5 one is $59.49 too

      • This one also good, it was $39 last week and comes with replaceable head for traveling.

        • I've had this one for about a year and its been solid. Having the extension cable is super handy for hotels where the power points are often in some inconvenient locations.

          • @Darkscythe: Why the Fark do hotels not have power points right beside the bedside table, they have had 15 years since smartphones came out to get that done.

            • @blairz1: Yep, it's insane - even in Japanese hotels I've stayed in built in the last couple of years. The power points will be on the other side of the room. Between the Zyron charger with the extension plus an Allocacoc Cube, I'm covered for all but the worst power point locations!

The 65W desktop one looks to be another 15% off so $50.

      • Updated.

    • Thanks RichardL. Bought the 65W Desktop charger. Just in time to replace my 5-6 years old 4 port USB-A standard charger.

  • Thanks OP

  • I have had this in my list and it has been $64.99 for sometime now(except for a couple of hours today), best price was I think was for those who had the $20 off (spend $70 or more) stacked with the store $30 off bringing it down to $49.99.

    • Yes that was when I got mine. I had a recommended Wotobeus 100W gan charger from Aliexpress but its intermittent noise annoys me. This UGreen one is very quiet that I can sleep next to it.

  • Does a similar style come with international travel charging plugs?

    • Looks like it takes a standard figure-8 cable in, so you could just unplug and swap the cable.

I don't have one yet, am considering buying for that feature.

      [edit: But note it's heavy!]

  • Bought this last time, love it.

Stays relatively cool, has little rubber feet, and the included 240v cable is a decent length.
As always, the hub restarts charging to all ports if a device is plugged in/unplugged.

  • Bought this, then either it caused a surge, or the surge caused it but 2 ports stopped working (the important ones, PD Type Cs), returned it and bought the 65W just as I needed one. The size difference between the two is fairly decent and I kind of prefer the 65w as a result. For my purposes 2 Type C and 2 Type A is better for versatility than 3 Type C and 1 Type A.

Still seems like a super quality product either way but unfortunately died on me pretty quick. 65w workin great for now! Being used the same way (laptop charging using magsafe/secondary charger for other devices)

    • My 65W also lost 2 usb-c ports after a month. At least they easily gave a full refund.

  • Is this better than ZYRON?

    • +5

I feel like ugreen is certainly considered more highly than Zyron generally, yes.

      • I would agree, Ugreen products are reliable and good customer service. Quality is up there with tthe price you pay for

    • Also interested in this vs this Zyron one

      • Yeah, I was wondering the same.

    • In my experience yes, I had a Zyron one once. Barely used it, maybe used it 4 times. Dropped it once accidentally on a carpeted floor of a hotel and it broke, stopped charging.

Had a metal housing and everything but clearly that wasnt enough to stop it from breaking something internally.

Funny thing is on the outside it didn't look like anything was wrong but just never charged anything after that

  • I also have one from a previous sale. The cord length is worth noting - as I found others didn't have long enough cords to cater for my standing desk.

My only gripe is that the usb A port turns off for a split second when I plug something into the paired usb c port next to it.

  • This or Zyron? https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CN8ZYJWY
    Which one should I choose?

    • This one

    • I bought the UGreen. I like the design and their cables are first rate.

  • +1

This or the 65W Version? - I've only got one USB-C device, and the only other used USB A device is a Watch, which charges through a laptop.

Also, no prime is needed for this deal/price

  • Picked up one of these, the PD cable I got does 60w so should be good for Samsung S24U. I don't have a laptop at the moment but obviously be good for that.

Wondering if the 65w version would be better overall (a bit smaller and lighter) as my 30w charger seems to do the phone fairly quick anyway.

    • Unfortunately not. To achieve 45W charging on the S24U requires 5A @ 9V, which would mean you need a 100W rated cable.

      A 60W cable is only rated to 3A (@ 20V or lower).

      • It's funny when a 60W cable isn't good enough to charge a 45 or 30W phone these days..
        Seems fine to me.

      • These should be ok right? the 30W & 60W cables still do the job and seem pretty fast, but may as well update a few.
They show 'super fast charging' but apparently the s24u should display ''super fast charging 2.0' or something if it's doing 45W.
        INIU USB C to USB C Cable, 100W [2-Pack/2m+2m]

Not quite as cheap as they were (~$15 half price) but there is a 30% off voucher so $21 still ok.

        Cheers,

        • +1

Yes, 100W cables need to have an e-marker chip to advertise that they can safely handle 5A current. Without the chip the USB-PD power supply will only supply a maximum of 3A; i.e. 60W.

In reality USB-C cables are specified with current limits, not power limits, which is why even though 45W < 60W, it pulls 5A so it requires the more expensive cable.

If you get one of these you can see exactly how much power the phone is using, though keep in mind it may only get 45W if the battery is almost completely flat:

          https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09HC4K3KP/

That said in real life you'd be hard pressed to see a time difference charging at 25W vs 45W.

          • @sickburn: ok good to know, thanks. I think in reality as long as the phone is getting a good quality 30W then it's not much difference but if they are market 100W it should be fairly future proofed anyway. Don't think i need a cable with a display..

  • Showing as $99.95 for me now.

    • Thanks, expired. If you are desperate it looks like there is a code on the listing to make it $69.95 - S9K5DC39

  • Is the quality good? Can anyone tell me, I bought other products from UGREEN before and they broke down very quickly.

    • I think ugreen is pretty solid these days. Started off like any other generic brand from Amazon.
2y warranty ACL isn't it? Pretty safe with returns with Amazon.

Seems pretty good though, wouldn't pay too much and prefer anker but returned one as spec wise didn't match the ugreen for fast charging
