Was browsing the app for lunch and saw this in the secret menu. Potentially good value, depending on how much popcorn they give.
Has cheese sauce which I think is something new? Maybe someone here can ellaborate.

Was not the snack box a large chips? This is smaller then, just with gravy and sauce. Even worse.

Oof, I was scan reading and didn't put 2 and 2 together, thought they meant the KSP. Ignore me.
I had this on Friday, it was served in the box that the salads come in and with a gravy container on the side. I got this and the 6 piece hot and crospy pieces. It was nice, I enjoyed the cheese sauce personally. Nothing outstanding but for fast food was good.
I tried it last week as well, served the same as dingleberries.
I liked it - quite a lot actually.
Felt fat af afterwards.
I haven't been able to get the Secret Menu open since the last app update. Anyone else have trouble or suggestions to get it opened.

I was prompted to open the Secret Menu recently after leaving the Android app open at the Menu screen for a little while.

Have you tried swiping your finger down to 'refresh' the menu? Afterwards, you wait 11 seconds and it will say "Shh. What secret menu? Unlock"
I was having the same issue (iOS) but after seeing this comment, I went to the App Store and looked up the KFC app, I had the option to update and after applying the direct update, the secret menu seems to be working again.
I have found lately I have to hold it down for excessively long, last time I thought mine was broken too, I swear I held it for a minute and a half before it showed up.
Is this a 'bargain' or just 'something that's on the KFC secret menu'?

Snack popcorn chicken - $3.95 - benefit of the doubt here, could be a regular size to go in line with the regular chips(would make it $7.95)
Regular gravy - $5.45
Regular chips - $4.45
Total equals to either $13.95 or $17.85 depending on popcorn chicken size. (also note sauce not included due to no price on the menu)
So its objectively a bargain based on the individual prices.

That’s equivalent to a Popcorn Chicken Go Bucket ($5.75) with the chips.
So you’re still paying $2.20 for a little tub of gravy-flavoured substance.

What's the point of a 'secret menu'? Why can't they just add these items to the regular app menu? It makes no sense.
Its a roundabout way of saying app exclusive, just another way to get you to download it.
Keeps people using the app to check back on what items are in the menu frequently. It also pushes users to get it now because item on the secret menu are temporary and likely to switch out. It can also get people to talk about the secret menu because it isn't immediately available to those not on the app/visiting a storefront.
I'm in india ATM. Tried their local menu item and was really impressed.

Looks interesting, prob use the combi oven for these i think.
The picture shows overflowing but the amount was less than half filled, could very easily see the bottom. Would not recommend.
People are paid huge $$ to make things look good for adverts.. shame they arent honest.

Heads up, KFC have changed the popcorn chicken recently, and i think it tastes like trash compared to the old one.
Not sure why this was marked as expired but it's still there (if you can even get the secret menu to show up, latest version on Android is bugged), had it today. Ends 30 September apparently.
$8 seem to be expensive, the size is a bit bigger then the snack box with extra Gravy and Cheese Sauce for $3 more
