VW Mechanic Western Sydney

My OzBargain 4plus care plan for my VW has expired.

Looking for a reliable mechanic to do servicing on my VW who won't break the bank. Used to go to Hills Euro but off the last time I spoke to them they were charging near dealer level prices. Located around Parramatta but happy to go somewhere to save a bit of money.

Wondering if anyone has recommendations?

Cheers

  • Have you considered purchasing another Care Plan? For my VW at current pricing the Care Plan is an OK price… and we've already won from the previous deal.

  • Heng's Garage, Cabramatta

  • Check in at vwwatercooled.com.au for recommendations..

  • Winston at WM Euro will look after you. Cheaper labour rates and no unnecessary repairs. Openly communicates via iMessage for photos and updates.

  • The entire VAG production machine is the cause of a great many broken bank accounts. There's only so much a good VW mechanic can do about it. Especially the more notorious models, with all their bespoke plastic sealing pieces and components that can only be bought from stealers, at their astronomical pricing.

They know that no new car buyer looks under the beauty covers they hide all those ugly little plastics they make everything out of, no matter how close to the turbo, or deep in a hot-vee they are placed.

Give Michaela and Alfredo a call at Muller & Muller in Dural.
It is a bit of a chore to get to & from Dural from Parramatta.

But I always had great service there for my son's Polo.
Regular servicing and (sadly) break fix work too.

That Dural shop was 'creative' with its invoicing because it had some beef with me supplying my own oil. I've also heard some other stories involving them so YMMV.

Volksmuller in Annagrove is also related to them. I've been to both shops, but I prefer the Annagrove shop, even though it's another 15-minute drive. I've also brought my own parts to the Annagrove shop, and copped no BS from them.

I can't recommend Eurowerke. Their prices are about the same as the dealer's, and the sneaker cnuts will put stickers on your car unless you explicitly opt-out.

  • Exoticars is in north parra

    • +1 and Peak Performance. Both of these have been here pretty much forever.
