You can't cut and paste from there, you can only copy and paste

      y got me.

      put me in pedant prison

For those who would rather do monthly than yearly and want full Telstra reception, they are starting to look more appealing than Boost (based off of their upcoming price increase).

    • @scrimshaw seems to think it's wholesale network (not how i understand it tbh but i could be wrong)

    • +1

Yep, currently on Boost but might switch to this. The 200gb rollover looks pretty appealing. The closest Boost alternative is the $35 plan, but that's for 28 days instead of 30, so you get shortchanged 24 days, and it only lets you rollover the previous month (which means a max data pool of 50GB).

  • Anyone know does JB sell long term expiry (eg. 365 days) prepaid SIM plans? Can’t see any online but was wondering in-store.

  • Is it worth considering the Wollworths plan that uses telstra?

    • +1

depends on your needs. the woolies deal gets you 10% off a shop once a month but it uses the wholesale network

      horses for courses

    • Does woolies use Telstra network??

      • +1

think woolies is telstra wholesale, coles's optus

        cld be wrong tho

      • +2

Woolies is the watered down Telstra.

    • +2

For the long expiry at least, doesn't give you 5g, doesn't give you any international minutes. I've found it to be lacking compared to boost

  • +1

Anyone know if this allows Telstra One Number, or is that still limited to post-paid.

    • +1

Apparently coming soon(ish) to wholesalers, some by the end of the year, the rest sometime next year.

      • Ah, good to hear. Thank you!

  • Can you get an addon account for wearables too?

    • Best to call JB to find out.

It doesn't look like they offer esim so if not that'd be a no

  • +3

For anyone needing full Telstra only occationally for road trips, a free roamless esim will do that, as it roams on both Optus and Telstra networks FYI

  • A couple of questions, hoping someone knows or know where to ask…

How do you add roaming to this? IE. I am heading overseas soon and like to find out information around international roaming.
My current boost plan ends on the 2/10. If I get this pack now, would I still be able to port out after 2/10? IE. on the 4/10 to this and keep my existing number?

    Thanks heaps in advance!

International Roaming Day Passes under Add-Ons

I think the SIM needs to be activated by Sep 24th for the 2 months of bonus data to apply

      • +1

        thanks for the info!

        • activation by oct 21st sorry!

Offer valid for SIMs activated by 21st October 2024 and last recharge must occur by 22nd December 2024.

  • Is esim available?

    • No sign on-site that I can see that esim's an option, best to call JB to find out for sure

  • +1

Can you use a perks voucher on this?

    • +1

You cannot, not for site based orders anyway.

  • Will this plan allow you to gift data to another service on the same type of JB Plan (like how Belong lets you)?

    • There’s data sharing between numbers on the same account but no mention of gifting that I can see.

      I’d guess it’s an either/or feature

  • +3

Same price at Coles today. I bought one there

  • I’m trying to find but couldn’t find it. After first two recharges, how much is the cheapest plan and how much data do we get?

    • This is the only option for pre-paid, if it's too exey or not enough data at 30gb/30days you should look elsewhere

  • first 2 recharges are $39 for 50gb each recharge, $39 for 30gb each recharge after

Get 50GB on activation for $13, then 50gb for $39 on your next 2 recharges, then 30gb for $39 on additional recharges!
Offer valid for SIMs activated by 21st October 2024 and last recharge must occur by 22nd December 2024.

  • ANYONE know if these are purchasable using the $10 perk
