    Hi Rep, any bargains?

  • -3

Hey there, yes it's higher-end furniture but at 40% off and free delivery there is literally thousands in savings storewide

there is literally thousands in savings storewide

Yeah but that's probably because your prices have been heavily jacked. Are there any actual bargains?

      • -3

Well our margins are small, and for the products we don't manufacture, we get great wholesale prices. So yes, there are actual bargains. But keep in mind this is handcrafted solid timber furniture, so for those used to IKEA and Temple & Webster prices, nothing on our site will be a "bargain". Our range is not cheap but economically, it's a smarter purchase long term as you won't need to replace every 12 months.

Yet you don't stand by your product by offering only 12 months warranty?

          Do you have a warranty?
Yes, we stand by the quality of all of our pieces. All of our furniture comes with a full 12-Month Warranty

    I have a genuine question.

    Is this your ABN?
    https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?abn=45134481152

May I ask why you're not registered for GST?

Your furniture is in the thousands, wouldn't you be earning over the threshold for the business to be registered for GST?

    • -3

Yes, we just launched the web shop and have to register for GST if we're going to turn over $75,000 in the first 12 months which should happen soon. Once we're required to register, we have 21 days to do so - but prices on the website won't change since they'll always include GST.

but prices on the website won't change since they'll always include GST

Meaning you're charging GST but not currently registered for GST.

        • Nope. We'll pay the GST out of our margin once we're registered.

Price stays the same for the customer.

Currently charging no GST on purchases, and when we register for GST, the prices won't go up 10%.

OzBargain - post a deal and get background ABN check for free! But OP, srsly, if you have a bargain why not to post at least one example??

    • -2

It's 40% off storewide + free delivery Aus Wide, so technically everything is a bargain until the end of Sept. So "bargain" depends on what you are after. If you don't like anything on there, that's ok too. We've had a few hundred visitors since posting which is awesome. Some like to comment, and some like to purchase!

Oh boy, this won't end well for OP.

I see Australian furniture in the post title, and "Australian Designed" furniture throughout, but no word on where the furniture is made.

OP also refusing to list a single bargain or comparison. Good luck.

Some is Australian Designed & Australian Made from Australian Timber.

Some is Australian Designed & Australian Made from Imported Timber.

Some is Australian Designed & Made Overseas from Australian Timber.

Some is Designed Overseas & Australian Made from Australian Timber.

All is 40% OFF and Free Delivery Australia Wide until the end of September.

And we'll be listing more throughout the month.

If you are interested in something specific, you can send a message through on the site for all the details.

Will be listing some of the great individual bargains and comparisons soon as well. This is our first post.

Damn, I was hoping for some Designed Overseas & Made Overseas from Imported Timber

        • -2

IKEA, Temple & Webster, eBay or Alibaba's got you sorted 😂

I don't like the reps attitude. Smug. Good luck dealing with them for anything warranty related. That is if they are even around for that to occur seeing as though they new and aren't even registered for GST but collecting it.

    .

    This is our first post.

Your time here won't be long I'm afraid. Especially with your refusal to list at least one specific bargain.

    • Sorry, what's a threat Lucille?

      • Oh, you're editing your post. Yes we'll list some of the specific bargains soon, just joined today.

        • You keep editing your post, but to clarify, NO we are not collecting GST at the moment.

          • @neoboheme: We are not a new company, established in 2017. But the web shop business is new for us.
