This is my receipt, I purchased on the 3/09/24. Not sure if it's still working and my store ran out of stock but I managed to purchase 4 for $4 and it minus $2. So I only got it for $2, buy one get on free. In that instance I got two free. As you can see on the receipt.

@Dyl: You do know that these solo socks were part of a promotion by Solo. Solo provided the socks for free when Woolies bought what ever amount of stock for them to resell.
And the promotion ended and they have all the sock stock left, so rather than dump it they try to sell it.
For woolies it is a free item , i.e. zero cost and pure profit.
Stocking Australia day merchandise is a commercial risk as it probably will not all sell and then they have excess stock that they either have to store (takes space, takes time to pack, could be damaged in storage , ties up $$$, etc) or they dump it or clear at cost - and they lose money or not make money.
