Dig first or dive straight into Dig 2?

Would like to play Heist 2 and Switch is the perfect platform for it but might wait for a deeper sale.

They’re both excellent. Dig 2 has better graphics. I don’t think the story needs to be played out in order if you’re only going to play one game. And even then, you could still play in any order - it’s not like the story will have you on the edge of your seat.

Dig 2 definitely. Dig 2 has a lot more content and is a lot more fleshed out. I found it very enjoyable, whereas 1 was quite unmemorable. There's not much plot in 1 so you're not really missing out on much.

      • I found Dig 1 to have 'purer' gameplay if that makes sense - the second seemed to add things on that weren't necessary

    • I would just add that while if you're definitely only buying one game, make it 2, if you think you'll want more content, playing 1 first makes more sense because 2 is more fleshed out. So I don't think I would have enjoyed going from 2 to 1, but it was very satisfying finishing 1 and then playing 2

Dig 1 was great but dig 2 is one of my favourite games

  • Dig 2 is great! My attention span is dogcrap but I found it very enjoyable to pick up and play for a bit here and there. Very satisfying use of haptics too!

  • Dig 2 has the weirdest opening… it is unlike the rest of the game. So awesome though.
