Can vouch for this mouse. In my mind, there is no other mouse!
For years and years I was using inferior mouse (and keyboard) until I found MX Master 3 and MX Keys.

As for the price.. I'm pretty sure I paid a lot more than this.
Seems like a bargain to me.. but the eagle-eyed, finger on the pulse guys can comment on the quality of the price tag.

I've been using an MX Master (v1?) all day every day at work for about 4 years now. It's never put a put wrong - still works perfectly, only needs charging every month or two, and the ergonomics and comfort are outstanding.

As a productivity mouse, it's damn near perfect and I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I cant agree more. Ive been using mine since 2015 and its still going strong, especially the battery. So tempted to get another since mine is a bit worn out but gonna see how long it can last.

      • No issues with the rubber?

I've gone through 2 in a bout 4 years because after awhile the rubber tends to go weird and shiny.

        • The rubber is definitely a bit shiny in a few places, but it's still entirely intact and hasn't gone sticky like some of those "soft touch" materials seem to do. My guess is that it will eventually split at the thumb button location, but so far so good.

  • Excellent price for an excellent mouse - shame no discount for non students.

  • Any thoughts on this vs MX Master 3S for Windows? The 3S is currently going around for $130, but I've got a $30 credit on MWave that I need to spend.

    • no massive differences between the 3 and 3S. Main difference is improved tracking (not really that noticeable for most uses) and the buttons. The S has silent client buttons whereas the 3 has normal clicks. I've had both and prefer the 3S, but for the price difference the 3 is definitely the choice.

      • Thanks for sharing. The only mouse I've used for the past three years or so is a measly B175, which I got for $6, and it's beginning to break. I thought the MX Master 3S might be a good replacement, but I'm also concerned about the durability.

Can't speak to the 3 but I've been using a V1 as my daily driver at work since it was released and a V2 for home use. No issues, no signs of wear. So long as you aren't a rage chucker or a power clicker I can't imagine you'll run into issues inside 10 years.

    • As previously commented, no major difference between the 3 and the 3s except improved tracking (which the 3 already does extremely well) and the click sound. Having used both a 3 and a 3s. I find the silent click of the 3s unbelievably satisfying to use, so I lean towards the 3s for daily use.

I also beleive that the 3s only works with bluetooth whereas the mx 3 works with both bluetooth and the Unifying receiver.
The latter may be important for someone who prefers a wirleess dongle connection for multi boot systems

      • 3S definitely works with the bolt receivers, doesn't come with one from memory but you can have it paired to any combination of bolt receiver or Bluetooth, e.g. I've got 2 x bolt and 1 x Bluetooth mapped on mine.

      • Tagging @indojo24 in case they don't see this comment

The 3S comes with the Logitech Bolt receiver in the box, so definitely not only Bluetooth.

I use my 3S between my PC and laptop (bought a second Bolt receiver because Bluetooth is noticeably laggier imo) and have no issues.

Thanks for sharing. Haven't decided to get the 3S yet because I've seen Reddit reviews where people were complaining about the rubber degrading and some of the buttons not working in less than 2 years, which concerns me.

  • MX master 3 is the best mouse feature wise but if they had it in the M720 body that would make it 100% better

  • Clicked through SE, shown discount offer, but this mouse doesn't exist in the list of available items to use the code on. I even added it to the cart separately, but it said the code was invalid.

    • Try through app, it worked for users who had that issue. I have tested the code working

      • No. I still have the same result.

        • Are you using the coupon code associated to StudentBeans? Is there anything else in cart?

  • Is this for Mac only? Can it be used with WIndows?

    • Yes! It doesn’t come with unifying receiver. So you will need Bluetooth access.

  • Great price. Too bad non-students can't avail it.

  • Feature wise, they're pretty cool, but I think the gaming mouse range are more ergonomic. Been using this for a year for work, and I feel like my g703 is far more comfortable.

    • Depends on your grip imo

If you're a claw grip with a gaming mouse then this won't be super comfortable for example
