Walmart ships to Aus? Or are you using re-shipping?

      • Use a shipping forwarder. I have a friend there so lucky enough they do it for me.
Literally a third of the price shaver shop sells whal for.
They often go on sale too, I’ve ordered a bunch for friends.

Senior Clipper. How old do i need to be to use these?

  • +1

Not cheap, but they do make a good set of clippers. I have a mains powered Wahl still cutting hair after 30+ years with only blade maintenence.

    • onto my 2nd pair in 18 years , dropped first pair and cracked the plastic, 2nd pair going strong but needs new blades. not sure how battery powered ones go over the long term though.

      • I’ve had a lithium ion pair for the last 11 years (perhaps a bit longer), regular use and it’s fine. Best clippers I ever purchased.

        • Mine are still going strong since 2017, cutting hair once a week, Model 8169L, bought for about $100

Hi, does anyone know the difference between magic clips and seniors?

  • These are good set of clippers. Production for a lot of US made WAHL clippers moved to Hungary during COVID. I purchased this a year ago (at a higher price) specially as this was still Made in USA. These are solid clippers and very reliable but being all metal, they are a bit heavy. Also if you run them continuously for over 10 mins then the blades do get warm and you will feel them on the skin if using without the combs. Best is to oil the blades frequently which prevents the blades from getting too hot and get damaged due to friction. Also there are other brands in the market which offer much longer battery life compared with these e.g. JRL. Do your research and see what matters to you.

  • I tried these on my grandparents and now they're dead. YMMV

    • Sorry for your loss
