Looking through previous deals for the earbuds mad came across this bargain on Amazon. Hopefully these are good for phone calls, I've been struggling to find earbuds that the missus doesn't have issues hearing me through.

    I dont think this is a deal based on:
    -these are 2 years old now;
    -new Buds3 Pro are out at $399 so you would expect these to be priced around this price;

    Seems to be normal price for these on clearance.

    Hey OP, I had these for at least a couple of years, been really happy with them.

    However phone calls are not one of there strengths.

    If that's really important I'd probably consider something else - maybe the new ones do better here

      Do they fall out of the ear when running training and sweating? Also how is the anc.

      • For me they fit decently well, I do use third-party foam tips which provided both a better seal and fit for me

        ANC is quite good imo, would say just a step below my WH XM4s.

      • I use mine with Comply tips and they stick in very well during work outs. ANC is outstanding!

      Thanks Rhubarb! Cancelled order.

      Any recommendations for phone calls

      • I tried most of the sub $100 ones and I’ve settled with earfun free pro 3. I got mine while on sale on amazon but you should be able to get the cheaper prize from their website. Must for me were calls, multipoint, fit, app, anc, compact case. Ticks these boxes for me. What I’m hoping they do better is the transparency when on calls so I could hear my voice normally. I came from airpods, airpods pro, jabra 65t. Another good one is Soundcore A40 but the fit wasn’t for me. Soundcore app is also good. Soundpeats is alright except for the app. Avoid Baseus they have strict return guidelines and case is bulky.

  • A bit unrelated - I got the buds3 pro and it keeps falling out of my ears. Is it the same withe buds2 pro?

    • Your ears might be same as mine that you need the deep in-ear ones. This is not deep in-ear. If that’s the case then jabra, earfun, baseus, soundpeats might work for you. Airpods didn’t fit me well.
