Has gelatine :(
Australian ones have gelatine too if that's what you are insinuating.
If you want more flavours you can get them at asian supermarkets (e.g. Hanaromart). Won't be $2 but I've seen them around $3.60
Confectionary
Famous for its fruity chew
A Hi-Chew haiku.Bless you
These aren’t gum right ? Ok to swallow?
Yep, they'll partially melt in your mouth too.

Why?
this big, family sized pack
For 100g? Well, call me a family then!
Yes, picked one up today for the work lolly jar, tiny!
At least you said Lolly and not candy +1 for you.
These are Made in Chyna.
Avoid.
Yes this is from China I wouldn’t trust it. Mentos is also from China
there seem to be alot of Americans here who hate the word lollies and China
May I point out that the 3 of your last 4 posts have been products from China?
I appreciate his China food spotting
I think what’s he trying to say is anything put in the mouth shouldn’t be made in Cheenah. I got this feeling too, however, compared the taste, let’s say haribo and Trollies, i am so loved of Trollies even though it’s made in Cheenah
OP it’s fruit Lollies not candy we aren’t American
It's from the Coles website.
yep unAustralian to say candy.
I don't like the color of them either.
@WatchNerd: you mean colour we aren't American.
@kungfuman: Woosh! :p
What about candycanes? I doubt anyone calls it lollycane 😅
Direct quote from the coles website, hence italics, I call them lollies.
yep i find it insulting that coles would put the word "candy" on there website.
While not worth a neg, the made in china hichews taste quite a bit worse than the ones made in Japan or Taiwan. Unfortunately since hichews have gotten popular in Australia, it's been harder to find the ones not made in china.
Here's a short article between the Japanese and Taiwanese hichews for anyone interested
The yoghurt ones in Japan are good
The best flavour is the Pineapple Sweet & Sour ones from Daiso.
I notice these have a strong, chemically flavour to them. Or maybe it's just a whiff of concentrated flavour essence when you open them.
I love these, and because the bag has pictures of fruit, they are a guilt free pleasure
I had some Hi Chews in Thailand which were much better than these.
