How much is savings to make this a bargain?

      popcor chimkin

  • I'm staying strong. I will not buy this!!

    • Resistance is futile puny hooman.

  • +1

Not hating but… with an average serving size 535g and 44.7g of fat. Eating this yourself (not sharing) is equivalent of over three tablespoons of animal fat and/or vegetable oil in a 'burger'

No wonder it tastes so good.

And people wonder why they can’t lose weight. 5897kj is almost my caloric intake in a day.

      • +1

Are you a girl? 5900 is pretty low if that is your average intake in a day.

        • My TDEE is 8682kj (sedentary). My goal is 2092kj under (or 500kcal).
Sedentary is a lie though, I lift weights and do cardio.
I select sedentary to give me a buffer.

          • @Maths Debater: I assume you are cutting or trying to lose weight then. If your goal is 2000 under a sedentary 8600 you are going to be in deficit.

        • Most people in developing countries survive on less. And they also only live till 50 medium.

average serving size 535g and 44.7g of fat.

That is rubbish, this has to be more than 8% fat…

That is less fat than a boiled egg…

This is what employees make themselves at break time

  • I'm just pissed they don't sell the cheese sauce as a dip

  • +8

I don't see how its a deal though, $12.95 is the regular price…

    • We allow normal price deals here. Basically Aldi.

    • +5

Agree, it's not even a great price to be considered a deal at regular price anyway. Would neg this deal if i could, but can't vote on any posts where i'm associated with the company

      • I think you were looking at the wrong menu when you picked your user name!

  • +1

Are they going to skimp on the popcorn chicken?

    • +1

yes, it's not worth it at all, it's just bread

  • +4

    No discount, no bargain.

  • +9

Stay strong bros. No one needs this

  • Seems like kfc had too much dinner rolls to sell before they expire

  • +1

Carb overload. 23.6 grams of sugar - almost 6 teaspoons?

    • Only 13% carbs…

68.2g out of 535g according to the link.

  • +4

this is the kind of slop they'd serve up in a satirical dystopian future

    • Except it will have insects as the protein source…

      • at least crickets are more environmentally friendly :)

  • +2

Man so disgusting, fake cheese sauce and the buns are full of sugar.

  • +5

Give me a zinger any day

Imagine coming to a fast food post to comment on the nutrition profile…

    • +1

I think it hurts the fast food regulars to get a reality check.

  • +3

    That looks so rank.

  • +1

I gag every time I see this thing.

Sell your CKF shares folks, this ship is going down! (Not financial advice obvs, DYOR)

    • +1

At $7.79 it's 38% down from a high of $12.55 earlier this year, so I think CKF is a case of BTFD. Look at how many people still upvote the KFC deals despite the price hikes. CKF will be minting money for years to come.

      • +1

Young generation is slowly moving away from KFC. I reckon it's the 40-60s that are keeping it alive.

Tougher competition than ever before with Zambreros/GYG etc.

        • +1

Not too sure about younger folks ditching KFC, not seeing much evidence of that for my local. Regardless, you'll be selling a stock down 38% lower than where it was in Jan, at a time when interest rates are going down. As the saying goes, "don't fight the fed"!

        • +1

Nah, they're not. If anything KFC appeals more to younger people with the cheaper price point.

CKF is just in a poor spot right now with the cost of living and Taco Bell failure. Better opportunities elsewhere for me.

  • +1

    Six pack of grease

  • Full price isnt a deal

    • Agree with this. Maybe at $5 this could be a deal

      • Agree its just some bread rolls, popcorn chicken and sauce so yeah $6 or so like those boxes of chips and popcorn chicken and sauce level price would be reasonable for what it is.

        • +1

Not just bread rolls, the most preservative ridden garbage made to look like bread. This thing is everything that's wrong with western diets.

  • I think it was just placed here because they received the email for it
    Def. not a deal

  • This is more like a slap burger

  • +1

The profit margin on these would have to be insanely large.

    • But iT’S a BArgAin!!!!!

      /s

  • No Bargain. We are OzBargainers.
