I was looking for a new beard trimming solution after my fancy Phillips Multigroom crapped out and found this popular clipper is back, now even cheaper than the last deal.

Price is US$7.77 / A$11.49 delivered for first time AliExpress users. Create a new account with a burner email (I used TempMail) for the best price.

Sharing Doy's excellent description from the previous deal linked above:

I bought this shaver in January 2022 and it is still going strong, so wanted to share again what I think is an amazing deal! EDIT: Quite a few people in the comments getting it for $12.32 AUD with a new account.

I use it at least twice a week to trim my beard, regularly use it on my whole body (the answer is yes) on #0 (no guard attachment), and my partner kindly cuts my hair to a #3 or #6 every 6 weeks or so. It still cuts great (although I'm sure it was never to the standard of the really expensive ones) and battery life lasts plenty of cuts.

Not having to screw around with multiple guard attachments, a propriety charger or batteries is great. Just chuck it on a USB-C cable charge every few weeks, and use the single guard attachment for it to slot in at the different lengths (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21).

My one downside would be that the little plastic parts on the guard that slot into the shaver are a little bit flimsy, and being quite careless jamming it back in, one of the side parts eventually broke and I had to buy a replacement guard for ~$5. With a bit of care, this won't be an issue.

Aside from that, I seriously cannot fault it, and for $20 I find it so much better than <$100 Wahls, Brauns and Phillips I've had over the years that you inevitably lose a charger or guard for. But of course, that's just my opinion :~)

EDIT: The linked listing is from the manufacturer's store, but the same product seems to be available for as little as US$0.99 (+ shipping / tax) from third party sellers. Not sure if these are legit, so purchase at own risk.

Happy shaving!

    • You're right - I made the mistake of selecting AUD as my currency on AliExpress but should be a few cents cheaper if USD is selected. I've updated the title accordingly.

  • I got 2 of this. Actually not bad at all.

    • +6

      1 for each???

      • +8

One for the top and one for the bottom. Do not mixed them up. Label them.

        • +4

One black one white. Black for the bottom obviously..

          • +1

@R3XNebular: Can confirm, black is always on bottom duty.

          • @R3XNebular: It's black, it's white
It's tough for you to get by (ooh, ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah)

It don't matter if you're black or white

            Lyrics suggest they don't matter….

        • +3

Why though… not like you don't use the same scrub/loofa to wash your face and your balls. :D

        • -1

Keep mixing come on keep mixing come on~~~~

      • i got a white one then i used on my dog-then i got a black one. HAHA

  • +2

Damn when I log in price jumps to over $20

    • +2

See description - takes about 3 mins to create a new account with Temp Mail ;-)

      • Thx

      • Thanks for link.. with this temp mail, if something goes wrong, how can we see any communication or send reset password link? can we access temp email later, I mean after 10 days… ? Thanks.

        • +1

At $11AUD I'm willing to just send it. If you're particularly concerned, you can create a non-temporary email address with any number of free online providers.

        • +1

Create an account using burner email, order, update account settings to use your normal email. Now you can log in and chech your order status any time

    • +1

How do you mean? With guard removed you'll get down to 0.7mm, which is standard for any clipper.

        • +5

Not easy to remove? You literally press the button it and slide it off?? You also regulate the length the exact same way… are you sure this is what you bought? 😅

            • +1

@G-rig: I think you've either got a different product, a defective product, or there's a user error. I have one of these and generally use it to "shave". I have facial hair so I use this to cut all the bits that aren't part of my facial hair pattern. It leaves me with something like a 1-2 day growth. A "number 3" comb is 3/8" (9mm) and is a pretty common length for a crew cut.

    • No way its junk, I was so proud using this thing did my son haircut a perfect job when we were in covid lockdown days, after that been sitting in the draw till now, maybe what some said up there, can reuse it for my 'bottom' !!!

  • +2

    I've ordered it for $3.81au

Not sure if it's same link but I've searched on Ali for Enchen Boost and got the item listed.

    • +2

Yep, the same product seems to be available for as little as US$0.99 (+shipping / tax) from third party sellers. Not sure what the risk is vs. buying directly from the manufacturer store, but let us know how you go!

      • Will keep updated, I've decided to buy from them as it says they've sold 203 units and 4.9 stars rating and there's a lot of reviews with photos etc.

      • Says can't be shipped to Australia

  • +1

Mine has a degraded battery after 3 years of use. Use it to cut my own hair and also my kids. Still works fine if tethered to a power bank but on battery it's very weak. Great set of clippers and can highly recommend. Probably need to crack mine open to see if the battery is easy to replace

    • +7

Not a bad result for 7$

      • +2

Yep, cheaper than a one off barber cut so it's paid itself many times over

    • What hairstyle do you guys go for?

I have a weird shaped head in my mind and need a GOOD barber (and it's always a gamble too) - I am rarely happy after a haircut, always such a traumatic experience

      • -1

        BDD?

      • +1

I just go with a short back and sides. I use about a 6mm comb length and do everything up to the crown of my head. I then cut the top to whatever length I feel like and don't worry too much about it as it's hard to see if it's entirely even. Just run your fingers/comb through and find the long bits and cut them.

  • +1

I cannot find the charger for either 2 of my phillips trimmers (which both went flat mid shave yesterday) at the moment so this came in at a great time

  • +1

Been using mine regularly since the last deal, definitely recommend

  • Bought it.. No regrets.. Still going strong

  • How's this for down there?

  • new account is asking to verify by mobile, does it make any difference if i use the same number as my main acc?

    • +2

Used same number. Worked for me

  • -7

Bought one of these a while ago. It's pretty terrible IMO

    • Saved me bucks. Cheers 🥂

      • +1

Interesting how you only need to see one or two critical comments to be thrown away from a product when all other comments praise the item as a great deal

    • +1

Really don't understand how I get downvoted for expressing my opinion on a shaver. To each their own, I guess.

      • Read the reviews mate, 5 star…

Very nice product and high quality I have not yet tried

        Sounds like @HeWhoKnows

      • -4

Because some here are incompentents that know little if anything but think they know everything.

They are known as "Competent Incompetents"

There are also some "Hard lefties" here that dont believe in others having an opinion and sharing thier experience because it goes against what they "believe"
Even though yours might be closer to "correct" and as a result of personal experience.

  • I have one, bought about a year ago… feels cheap, but probably worth the price. I use it to trim facial hair and “down there” … the fiddle guard thing broke so now all I have is the bare clipper (0)… handy enough for that but I wouldn’t try to cut hair with it. One side of the cutting blade is nylon/plastic so it’s not going to last forever, but yeah, worth the price.

    • +1

I thought the blade was ceramic so it'll last a long time

      • yes I think you're correct. Nylon would go blunt within the first hair cut.

  • Bought one from last deal, absolutely worth the price, build quality, battery life, performance, no regrets.

  • Remember getting something like this from kogan years ago for a fiver

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/747089

  • FYI Enchen isn't Xiaomi.

    • Enchen is a sub-brand of Xiaomi.

      • +1

No it's not. They're a brand that have sold on Xiaomi's E commerce shop which is basically Kickstarter in China. They've confirmed it on their own website

Of course saying all independent products are Xiaomi bring greater sales. Besides own AliExpress page doesn't say it anyway.

  • +1

bought one to share between the bois, thanks

  • My multigroom stopped working too but they have a 5 year warranty (had it about 4 years from memory) and Amazon gave me a full refund.

    • +1

Wow, good call! I just got in touch with Amazon and they gave me a refund no questions asks. Wouldn't have thought it would be worth trouble, so thanks for the tip :)

    • Where did you find the 5 year warranty? I can only find 2 years on Philips website and Amazon.

    • Link?

  • +3

Do Not Use This On Your Nuts….

  • I have one it's awesome. maybe instead of charging it I should buy a new one instead..

  • Any good to trim a small dog's hair? Or is the included guard too close to the blade?

  • I'm interested, but does anyone else think the reviews are a little… off? E.g:

"The seeding was on the hour, the Garna was a product, everything was spit with photographs, the boxes came strongly" and

"Sluts and blades are sweet and I like the Tiger's barbs."

    • +4

"Sluts and blades are sweet and I like the Tiger's barbs."
      Original review:
خفيفه والشفرات حلوه وعجبني ان فيها لاصق النمر الحلاقه
      Google translate from Arabic:
"It is light and the blades are nice. I liked that it has a tiger shaving sticker"
      ChatGPT translation:
"It's light, the blades are nice, and I liked that it has a shaving guide/attachment."

      • The first translation sounds most accurate, instant buy!

  • Do not buy this… It's useless, instant regret buy for me.

    • but why

  • will give it a go… my wahl of several years finally carked it for holding a charge recently.

  • I use a trimmer like this, but without the guard on it, to keep stubble at a short length.

Can anyone suggest any higher quality options?

    • @Frederico Z This happened to me with the white one. I swapped to black and it worked.

      • Didn't work for me. No delivery to "this location" as before.

Tried another browser and got a message that the link was blocked.

Reluctantly installed the Android app. Got the same does not deliver "to this location" message

        I'll give it up now.

  • Ok I'm old , bushy grey and oldmate is a bit buried but happily. Why are you guys shaving ya balls ETC these days ? Is it an under 20 30 40 50 or 60yrs old thing ? Lmdo if I could find it .

  • -1

use this for my balls, ended up cutting my skin

    • thast said, I used a phillips one too, and it also cut my balls

  • God damn! My Philips beard trimmer died after 7 years. I ended up buy the Braun series 9 Professional beard trimmer for $199. So bloody good and easy to use but looking at this Xiaomi price I am :(

    • It depends, Brauns are solid - I have a braun Michael klim shaver … from 2000 still using it daily (so that's 24 years), apart from the covid times.

  • -1

I have Phillips Multigroom 5000 that i paid for about $57 in 2021 and still getting the job done much much better than this.

Ever since I bought the Xiaomi one last i've only used it maybe twice.

This thing feels cheap and rattly unlike ghe Philips which give a very smooth humming vibration.

If you never used the better brands you'd probably never know but I won't use this one "down there" whereas the Philips, I would.

  • +2

I just bought this one for $1.92, or $6.83 delivered.
It's from the same store. And I am not a new customer.
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005209098645.html

Anyone else get it this low?

    • Yes! $6.83 delivered, same link, product appears identical (I did create a new account)

    • $10 USD for me?

      • need to be new customer

  • Sold out?

  • I am not meant to have one. Now I get

www.ojrq.net is blockedThis page has been blocked by Vivaldi
    ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

  • Effectively expired? Shows stock, can add to cart, but apparently cannot be shipped to even Melbourne.

  • Looks like OOS?

  • bald is best tho

  • I've had 4 of these. They've all broken within 6 months.

I would continue buying them at this price, but I hate the ewaste. Next time I'm just going to buy a quality trimmer and a converter to USB-C.

  • It's days can't be delivered to your country.. I mean I chose Australia.. Am I don't anything wrong?

  • +2

    black one back in stock

    • At what price though?

      Mine's showing aud$16.69.
