  • Great for keeping your feet dry, but can they handle those extra workouts?

  • +1

The socks are comfortable and inexpensive, but they tend to develop holes and have bits of rubber coming out after a short period of use. I suggest checking the reviews before making a purchase. However, if you don't mind contacting Amazon chat and getting a refund when you experience these issues, they could still be a good choice.

    • Also, there are no rubber bits on this black crew version, and mine (purchased at the start of July) have no holes, despite daily wear. YMMV

      • The bits come somehow from inside the socks, they are not ON the socks. I might give it a go again. Cheers.

  • It doesn’t say how big is it. Both the Large and the X-Large are showing 6-12

    • They are quite narrow. My shoes size is uk 8 and it fits good. I bought 6-12 size

  • I'm showing my boomer with this question, but anyone got recommendations on good quality no-show socks? Am currently using 'Artengo' ones from Decathlon, but am finding they start to wear thin from around 3 months.

I used to get the invisiable ones from General Pants Co but they seem to not sell them anymore! I have now tried some Vans which are pretty good and are lasting

      Kmart

      • 100% Kmart, they have really soft cotton ones that are decently thick that have a little pull tab bit on the Achilles that stop your shoes from rubbing and they stay soft and last a long time esp for the price, I think they were $6 foot a 3 pack at full price cheaper if you get them during an underwear sale which are reasonably frequent!

        • Sounds good. I have looked but cannot tell which ones. Is it 3 Pack Work Socks? Could you help please?

          • +1

@Yola: No not work socks, I was answering question about no-show/ankle socks.
Kmart have some ok work socks but none that last and are so comfortable that I’d recommend them.

  • Yeah, they are very comfortable

These socks are rubbish. Feet slide around wearing them, developed abrasions on my toes that went away as soon as I threw these in the bin.

I got these in the last deal and they are the worst . shitty quality and feel . STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I m sorry if you think these are great, you might be missing out if you have not had proper good socks

    • Totally agree these are really bad and cotton becomes stiff after only a couple of washes before deteriorating very quickly. You can do better at a better price!

  • Do we make wool/cotton socks any more here in AU? Like my good old 10yrs holeproof ?

    • +1

No unfortunately all the decent Aussie brands have offshored all the manufacturing the best you can hope for is a brand that uses Australian grown cotton/wool.
Of course you can always find expensive premium brands wool socks if you have the budget for it but $80-$100 a pair is being me no matter how good they are lol

      • I remember it used to be $10 a pair of $18 for 3 100% wool. Geez am I that old?

        • +1

Haha I feel that way regularly when I see pricing on all sorts of stuff.
You might get lucky and find pricing similar to that or a little more it just won’t be Australian made.

  • The socks are OK, but very tight around the cuff.
