Taiwan is awesome, I highly recommend. Stop in in HK to go to Disneyland on the way back. Great holiday

Agree, Taiwan is awesome and it's a paradise for OzBargainers… cheap food, transport, eyeglasses, hotels and tours.

This is my goto site for Taiwan tourism https://www.taiwanobsessed.com and this high odds tourism promotion is still running: https://5000.taiwan.net.tw/index_en.html giving tourists the chance to win $5,000 TWD ($230 AUD) vouchers on arrival.

That taiwanobsessed website is great, thanks for sharing

Yeah, I've become Taiwan obsessed since I discovered it:)

I've booked my second Taiwan trip and I'm very excited (technically 4th trip if layovers count).

PSA: Always book direct with the airline.

Use Google flights for finding flights and then it has a convenient link to continue to the official Cathay website to book without the pitfalls of OTAs.

The price will be $860+ but that's better than gambling with online travel agents IMHO.

  • With these kind of fares, cant wait to see Qantas' next profit announcements. (Theyve just had one recently).
