this has been on sale for the same price at least 3-4 times from memory in the last year or so. Bought one personally and its ok for the price but yeah nothing to rave about.

  • How is this for getting a SUP up to 15 PSI?

    • Poor.

    • +2

This is a high volume pump not a high pressure pump, it won't be good for a SUP.

      • +2

But a high pressure pump would take forever wouldn’t it? I would assume you’d want both?

        • +2

Need a pump that can do both - high volume at first to 1psi, then high pressure to get to 15psi

  • Bought one what’s it for?

I’m guessing balloons, air beds, Swiss balls, stuff like that?

    • +1

      Air beds and pool toys.

      • Any deals on pools?

        • +1

Ask Pete to buy you one, he's loaded.

  • Highly doubt it will work or if it does it will not last long. I bought one from Temu, not the same look or brand, did not work at all. Opened it up, there is no metal inside.

    • +1

These ones work fine - I’ve had this model for years, though it’s only used a few dozen times a year (usually to blow up a kids pool during summer out on the lawn)

      • +1

Yeah they’re just fans, it isn’t rocket science. Any half decent brand should be fine.

    • Opened it up, there is no metal inside.

I doubt you can manufacture an electric motor without any metal.

  • Bought it in a previous deal. Took over 5 minutes to fill up a 55cm diameter swiss ball so i wouldnt consider it fast or high volume. The smaller tip connection wasnt tight and had to be manually held together or it wouldnt stay connected. The larger tip stayed on. Not sure if that is normal though.

    For those considering portability
I got one of this https://amzn.asia/d/azuxJvV
It’s more expensive but has been working great
Always bring this to travel for kids inflatable beds
Also work on opposite direction to deflate things really quickly

Price is now $24. Here's the battery powered version for $25.

As said above, these pumps struggle to finish the job, but they'll save you a lot of work.

  • Price is now $24.95
